Now that Bellatrix and the Death Eaters are in power, they have developed a class system. What class you are in determines what you can and cannot do. It also determines your way of life.
RULING CLASS: This class consists of Supreme Ministress Bellatrix and marked Death Eaters and their immediate families. If you have a Dark Mark and are a loyal follower, you are in this class! Those wizards and witches in this class have access to everything. They are heads of Ministry departments and have access to top secret information. They have the right to do whatever they want, whenever they want. They are in charge of discipline and using an unforgivable curse whenever they want. They may carry their wand with them where ever the go. The Ruling Class may only marry wizards/witches from the Upper Class. Middle Class excepts are made, so long as they pledge their allegiance to Bellatrix with an unbreakable vow.
UPPER CLASS: This class consists of only Pure-bloods or Half-Bloods that are extended/immediate family members of Death Eaters, or show their support. Those who did not join the death eaters are in this class doing important jobs for the group. The main jobs of this class are lower positions of power, such as ministry jobs, daily prophet jobs and Hogwarts jobs. They have almost the same rights as the Ruling class except they cannot harm anyone of the Ruling class and must always listen to them. They are also allowed to own mudblood slaves, or hire someone from the Lower Class for whatever wage they see fit. The Upper Class may only marry wizards/witches from the Upper or Ruling Class. Middle Class excepts are made, so long as they pledge their allegiance to Bellatrix.
MIDDLE CLASS: This class consists of only Half-bloods. The occupations they may have are: Healer & Nurses at St. Mungos, small positions at the Ministry, shop owners, or shop workers, etc. They must listen to the Ruling and Upper class and never harm any member of those classes. The Middle class, unless otherwise authorized, are not allowed access into the Ministry. They are not allowed to be a Hogwarts Professor, unless otherwise authorized. Middle Class can marry lower if they want but, will lose their Middle Class status if they marry from the Lower Class.
LOWER CLASS: This class consists of Werewolves, Vampires, other magical creatures, and Blood Traitors, and anyone else Bellatrix feels like putting there. The Lower Class must live in the Slums. They are allowed to keep all their possessions, just not their homes or wands. The Lower Class live in three-five room shacks. They all must work like muggles in farming fields to grow the food supply for the other classes. They are allowed to have their own garden to feed themselves. One from the Lower Class may also be hired by another class to do whatever sort of work they want them to do. The Slums have no running water in the homes. There is a community well which will always be full but, not always clean. It is recommended that that water is boiled first if you want to drink it. The Lower Class is not allowed to congregate in large groups for any reason other than communal work. They are not allowed to meet anywhere after dark, and must all be in their homes by ten at night. If someone of this class is found out after curfew, strict punishments will be enforced. No one of the Lower Class may own a wand. Anyone found with a wand is subject to any penalty the courts see fit, even death. The Lower Class must obey anyone from the other classes. They are not allowed to speak to them unless spoken to, and must be respectful toward them. They are not allowed to marry anyone in a higher class than them. If a Middle Class married a Lower Class person, the Middle Class person will be degraded to Lower Class.
MUDBLOODS: Mudbloods must admit to slavery. It is up to their masters how they are treated, and what living conditions they will have. Under no circumstances is a mudblood allowed a wand, or to go anywhere outside their master's house without said master. The Ruling and Upper Classes may purchase slaves through the Ministry. A mudblood is not allowed to marry into any class but, the Lower Class.
