Okay, we really need to get the ball rolling on things again. We need ideas. Frankly, I have run out of ideas on how to improve things, or get everyone posting again. So, I...well, we, are asking for suggestions. Should we have a site wide event? Change the plot, or what else can we do?
We really, really, do not want to close the site down, so please help us keep things going!

Competing with the holidays and breaks in the school year is tough. I figure things might pick up again once all the madness has died down. Personally, I like the plot only it does not involve everyone at all. Maybe if it was tweaked, and there was an attack on the school or something to include everyone site-wide? Everyone sort of picked sides, so maybe it is time to put those choices to the test? (Maybe even time to kill some characters?)

you could do something like where one of the other magical schools has been attacked and fit it in with the plot so that people could make characters from another school e.g. beauxbatons or something because they are seeking refuge and a new school - that might have sounded better in my head. dont give up on the site, all it needs is lots of advertising and maybe a freshen up? maybe a big activity check and a big sort through all the boards etc? (: <3 just an idea!

On another site that I'm with the way they got every one posting was by having a break out in werewolf. It was lead by a professor. Just throwing out a idea

what about a Quidditch game, like the World Cup or something? I don't know, some big activity where everyone can get involved would help, I think.

Maybe the site could include a Dueling Club that's more elaborated; like maybe top duelists run the club instead of professors. And maybe the Dueling club, branches off two distinct student groups; one loyal to the Order of Phoenix and one loyal to the Death Eaters, that are kept a secret from the professors? This would be something similar to Dumbledore's Army, only more serious and with different group names for both the student Order of Phoenix supporters (for example, The Phoenix Duelists) and the student Death Eater supporters (for example, The Serpent Duelists). This could definitely spark more Hogwarts' student applications, and involvement of roleplayers.
Maybe you guys could even do a potions vault break in at Hogwarts. A couple of troublesome students could've taken the many sorts of potions and spiked the foods and drinks in Hogwarts; and it could effect the students and professors both.
These are, of course, just suggestions. XD
