- CL is designed to provide the setting to allow for as freeform of a realm as possible without sacrificing plot stability. If something is not explained in a plot post then it is supposed to be a mystery that you will be able to find out about in the site plot.
- CL uses a money and class system with two distinct classes, a superpower class and a super-technology class.
- CL is meant to be easily understood but has a in-depth analysis for those who are really interested in the setting.
- CL is based in a setting that is semi-post apocalyptic.
- The roleplay takes place mainly in a mega-megalopolis called Halkai which is intact. Everything OUTSIDE of Halkai is really screwed up by the apocalyptic setting as reality itself has been destabilized.

- CL is meant to adapt as players join and mold the site based on their interactions.
