A female voice rang through the hall as Ryan Sullivan made his way down the hall. He looked back at the blonde carrying a mountain of books and smiled at her flashing her a slight wave. He'd known Cameron since their first year and she was one of the oddest Ravenclaw's and girls he had ever gotten to be friends with.
"Hey Cam. Need some help?" He asked flashing her a very charming smile as she nodded and he took a few books from her stack as she thanked him. The two talked for a while as they made their journey toward the library and he opened the door for her and set the books down on the front desk to be returned before bidding his goodbye and heading further into the library.
Ryan shoved his hands in his pockets as he stepped through the doors of the Library and looked around. Even though he was a Ravenclaw this wasn't a place that he came to often, unless he actually needed a book and even then he really didn't stick around to read it, usually just checked it out and left. He's never really had a taste for sitting anywhere normal to read, he usually read in trees, or up in the owlery, any place quiet someone couldn't find him. The library was too much of an easy place to be distracted by others even though it was supposed to be a quiet place. He licked his lips as he made his way over to the back of the library toward the last book shelf. He was looking for something very specific for his potions essay just needed a quick look at it and he could finish. Ryan ran his fingers over the backs of the old books and scanned the titles in slight interest, but honestly he would rather be anywhere, but there at the moment.
He sighed as he reached out and grasped the book he was looking for and pulled it from its spot on the shelf. He flipped through it for just a moment his eyes scanning the words as a satisfied smile slipped onto his lips and he held the book ready to leave, but just as he rounded the corner he fell over someones backpack and hit the ground with a thud. Ryan rolled his eyes at his lack of attention to where he was going and groaned as he got up and looked at the girl whose things he had fallen over and flashed her an apologetic smile. "Hey, sorry, I gotta learn to watch where I'm going." He explained as he flashed the Gryffindor girl a smile.

& what lies lurk in kissesFOR THAT FACE WHICH LAUNCHED A THOUSAND SHIPS• • • • • • • • • • • • The Gryffindor common room was crowded with students, finally it was Saturday and everyone was excited for a day off of classes, some free time to relax and have fun with friends, so not only was it crowded, it was noisy. Typically the brunette Gryffindor would have joined in with the chatter and be making plans to go on the grounds or down to the Lake with her friends, but fun wasn’t really in the cards for her this weekend, she had gotten a lot of homework from her classes, and unlike her two best friends who would leave it until the last day of the weekend she wanted to get it done and out of the way so she could just relax. “Brooke really.. homework is supposed to be left until the last day, student rules.” Jacob teased her, as he and Emma came to sit beside her. She couldn’t help but roll her eyes, the three of them had been best friends since first year, but sometimes they were just a little bit too much. “Look I just want to get it done and out of the way, and that’s not going to happen here. I’ll meet you guys for lunch later okay?” she responded standing up and throwing her things into her bag, giving them a quick wave she bolted out of the common room and made her way to the library.
Walking into the library she felt a small sense of relief, it wasn’t crazy busy or loud, actually she only saw maybe a small handful of students, sighing with relief she made her way to the back, picking up the books she would need. Finding a nice spot to hide out she sat down and got to work. The homework wasn’t difficult by any means she just needed until maybe lunch to get it done, assuming she didn’t have any distractions. Luckily an hour and a half later, she had all the work done, not quite ready to leave her comfy zone though she pulled a book she had been reading out of her bag and bringing her knees to her chest she began reading getting absorbed into the other world. She loved muggle books, they were filled with romance, adventure, and danger; she could sit and read all day if it were only possible.
The thunk of someone hitting the ground had her head darting up, her eyes wide as she looked at the Ravenclaw boy in front of her. ”Shoot I am so sorry that’s my fault!”
she apologized realizing he had tripped over her things, dropping her book she began grabbing things, shoving them back in her bag and moving it to the opposite side of herself where no one would be able to trip over it. ”You’re not hurt are you?” she asked concern full in her voice. She wasn’t a cruel person, she knew not everyone got along, but she liked to do her best to be nice to everyone no matter which house they came from. On another note though she couldn’t help but notice how attractive this boy was and a light brush covered her cheeks. ”I’m Brooke. Nice to meet you.” [/blockquote][/blockquote]

A smirk crossed his lips at the thought before he vanished it away and looked up as the girl flashing her a smile that he knew had most girls falling all over themselves, as he looked her over and dusted himself off from the fall. "I'm fine, not permanent damage that I know of." He told her as he moved around a bit making sure nothing ached more than it should have. He flexed his arms a bit more than necessary, but stopped after a moment and flashed the girl another smile as he really got a look at her. Ryan was never one to discriminate against houses, besides his intelligence, he himself wasn't much of the Ravenclaw the hat had decided to put him in. He took to many risks, spoke without thinking, acted without thinking and was very sly and cunning, if anything he was more Gryffindor and Slytherin than he was a Ravenclaw, but he liked his house just fine.
He looked the girl over for a moment and noticed how both equally hot and beautiful she really was and he couldn't help, but smirk at that. Then she spoke and he instantly picked up on his shyness and raised an eyebrow at that, but decided to leave it for now. He flashed her a smirk and reached forward taking her hand in his before kissing it lightly and sending her a smirk. "The names Sullivan, Ryan Sullivan." He said the smirk never leaving his lips. "And a beauty like you shouldn't apologize for your bag, I wasn't really paying attention anyway, so if anything I should be apologizing to you." He said laying on the charm a little thick there. He couldn't help himself, when he sees someone as attractive as she obviously was the flirting comes on its own, and he had no intention of stopping it any time soon. He let go of her hand and straightened back up as he ran it across his neck. "So nice spot you got here." He said awkwardly, before bending down and picking up the book he was going to use for his potions essay.

& what lies lurk in kissesFOR THAT FACE WHICH LAUNCHED A THOUSAND SHIPS• • • • • • • • • • • • Brooke tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, feeling bad as she watched the boy push himself back up. Following suit she slowly stood up herself running her hand through her hair really quick then started twirling a strand near the front, a habit of hers when she began over thinking things. She had seen him in some of her classes of course, but she was used to always being with Jacob and Emma that she didn’t always know the names of other students in her year, she wondered why she hadn’t actually noticed him before. Giving him her shy smile she lifted her back and threw it over her shoulder, giving him a quick look over. His smile caused her blush to deepen a little bit, sure she was shy, but she wasn’t that shy, lifting an eyebrow at the smile she smirked a little. “I suppose you are used to girls feinting at your feet?”
she teased, the color from her cheeks still hadn’t faded. “Well I am glad there isn’t any permanent damage, but is there anything at all I can do to help?” She wasn’t deaf, she’d heard him groan so she knew he had hurt something she just wasn’t exactly sure what. Her turquoise eyes widened as he took her hand and kissed it, boys had tried to be flattering before of course but not to this extent, she really wasn’t exactly sure what to do, so she just smiled. “Straight out of a James Bond movie aren’t you.” She teased lightly, it was cute, but she couldn’t quite say that to a guy she had only just met. “You tripped over my bag, and yet you need to say sorry to me. I am afraid I don’t really follow your logic Mister Sullivan.” She countered raising an eyebrow. She shrugged as she looked around at her little hide away. “No one would come look for me here, and I had some homework I wanted to get done. It’s nice and cozy.” She laughed, “So what is a guy as good looking as you doing hanging out in the library” she asked, color coming back to her cheeks again. She wasn’t great at flirting, when she was doing it in a joking way with Em around she did just fine, but actually flirting and trying to impress someone, she tended to fail at that sort of thing miserably. It's just who has become over the years. He could stop anytime he wanted to, if he wanted to, but he didn't most of the time. It was fun to make other feel good about themselves every once in a while and he liked making people smile, so he flirted with them. It was better than making a fool out of himself, and since he had already fallen flat on his face in front of Brooke already, he already did that, so the next best option was flirting and well he was incredibly good at that. A light laugh escaped his lips at her words and he shrugged. "Sometimes fainting, sometimes girls just jump me, you know, can't help it I'm just that good." He said with a laugh more jokingly than truthfully. Honestly he could be a bit cocky, but he wasn't that cocky.
He looked down at his shoes and bounced on his feet for a moment making sure he could at least still move his knee before looking back up at the girl shrugging it off like it was nothing, because to him it was worse pain had happened to him in the past, this was no big deal. "Nope, I think I got it, on my own, besides just looking at those beautiful eyes of your is enough for me to feel better." He said truthfully and flashed her another smile. 'and the title of master flirt goes to' Ryan couldn't help but think to himself for a brief moment amusement lighting his eyes as he looked at the girl. This was pretty much the most fun he had, had all day, which was a bit of a shock for him because Saturdays were his havoc causing days. Causing trouble and pranking the masses, it's what he did best.
"Ah, Smart girl, I had a feeling you knew of my secret agent status, it's not an easy life to live, but I get the job done." He said nodding and gave her a serious. "But keep it to yourself, wouldn't want to put you in harms way." Ryan told her a chuckle escaping his lips. as he looked at her. "I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and with my natural clumsiness I knocked spilled all the stuff out of your bag. Now that is the Sullivan logic, it makes no sense, and yet it's still polite." He explained the smile never leaving his lips. "it is a nice spot I'll give you that, Just came for a book, me I prefer to hide out in trees, people don't usually look all the way up when they're walking, plus it clears my head to be up some place high." He explained. "But you think I''m good looking, that's good to know, I could use that to my advantage one of these day." He said chuckling.

& what lies lurk in kissesFOR THAT FACE WHICH LAUNCHED A THOUSAND SHIPS• • • • • • • • • • • • Brooke couldn’t help herself she laughed out loud then covered her mouth glancing around hoping no one had heard or noticed, she got one dirty look from the librarian who then went back to putting books away, once her back was turned Brooke couldn’t help but stick her tongue out at her. ‘Witch.’ She thought to herself shaking her head, and then she turned to Ryan and gave him the best flirty smile she could muster. “Oh yes, I am using all my physical and mental strength not to just jump on you this exact second. It’s quite hard, I hope you realize how difficult you are making this for me.” She teased, Emma had always said it was Brooke’s shyness and natural innocence that helped to draw guys to her, she wasn’t so sure herself, she had the idea in her head that guys preferred the girls who could tease and flirt back, and that just wasn’t her, she tried mind you, but she ended up making a fool of herself ninety percent of the time.
Blushing and looking down at her feet for a moment, Brooke began tucking her hair behind her ear again. She really was used to guys coming onto her and flirting, just they never had this effect on her, mind you he was much more attractive than the others, and his comments were much sweeter. “Well perhaps the next time you injure yourself you can send me a note and I can meet you to make you feel better again.” Mentally she slapped her forehead and felt like an idiot, that line didn’t even make sense! ‘Way to go Brooke… he’s going to think you’re a real catch for sure!’ she scolded herself, a small aggravated sigh escaping her lips. She could usually do better than this, mind you Emma was around playing Miss Cool and giving her small bits of guidance here and there, sometimes even doing all the talking while Brooke just stood there and smiled rather shyly.
“Well I don’t exactly mind getting into harm’s way, as a matter of fact I find adventure exciting.” She replied a smirk on her lips. That was the truth, she tended to get into trouble here and there, she wasn’t harshly punished, it helped that she was a model student in the academic sense, but she liked playing pranks, and sometimes just exploring; at all hours of the night and getting into every inch of the school and the grounds. “You’re right, it doesn’t make any sense, so lucky for you, you just so happen to be cute and I will go along with your Sullivan logic.” She listened to him with alight smile on her lips, she enjoyed being outside to study when she could, but she knows that she tends to get distracted and doesn’t actually get anything accomplished. “I love being outside, especially to study, the only problem is I get distracted and never accomplish anything.” She frowned, maybe that was something she should do today, get outside just to enjoy the fresh air. “Use to your advantage? And how would you do that, I am sure I’m not your type, you might be more interested in my friend Emma… she’s a bit better with boys… and kind of more fun.” Brooke stammered. Wow, now she felt super, here she is with a really attractive guy who is flirting with her and seeming to take an interest, and she brings up Emma, that’s the way to do it Brooke.
