PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Ryder takes after his father completely in his appearance. He is a slender boy, with pale skin, brown hair and big brown eyes. The spitting image of his dad his mother uses to tell him on a daily basis. The boy stands at 6’0. Not being too tall but not being too short either. He has always been ok with his height. His hair though he normally keeps at a medium look, it’s never too long, but it’s long enough to run your fingers through, which is a bad habit of his.

His eyes are a deep brown color, which stands out against his skin color. He finds himself to be handsome, and he hopes that other people do too. He does have a few scars, one on his elbow from falling off his bike numerous times and cutting the same place repeatedly until it just scarred over. He has another on his leg from where he was ironically running with scissors, tripped and the scissors stabbed through.

He had heard stories about his aunt, his mother's sister, who had gotten into Hogwarts, and she just seemed to have the best life. So when he got his, he was absolutely thrilled to know that he was a wizard and would get to begin his own adventures.

PERSONALITY:
Protective:
Ryder comes from a big family, with three siblings, and to many cousins to count, he has always been the protective type. He has been taught to keep what he loves close and keep them safe no matter what. And he does that. He stands up for what he thinks is right, and he will do whatever he thinks is necessary to protect that person or that cause. That is just the type of person he is. he feels the need to keep other safe, and it’s honestly one of his better traits.

Confident:
Confidence is key. You can get anywhere if you believe you can, and Ryder believes in everything he does. It doesn’t matter if it’s school work, girls (though he is gladly take now), sporting events, or anything else. He will get up there and act like he owns the place, even if he knows inside that he is dying a little. Definitely when it comes to public performances. Those kill him, but he knows to put on a brave face, and hopes that no one notices what a total wreck he is. but when it comes to things relationship wise, it doesn’t matter, he is confident about it all.

Goofball:
Ryder loves to goof off. He loves making people laugh, and brging smiles to people’s faces. He learned how to do this when he first became a big brother. He found that his little sister cried a lot, and it stressed his mother out. So he became determined to make the baby smile. Before he knew it he was a pro at it and then started in on other people. Now, he will try, and hopefully succeed to make anyone smile. It doesn’t matter who they are. If he thinks they might be having a bad day or in a dark place, he will fight to bring a smile to their face.

Loving:
Ryder is one of those people that if you let him he will love you with all of his heart. He isn’t a hateful person. He is definitely a lover, not a fighter. Though he will fight if he has too. He has a big heart, he has always been told that. If it wasn’t from his love of people it was to his love of animals. He is just that type that needs something to love, and it overall makes him a good guy… and a good boyfriend for the lucky lady who does have his heart at this moment.

HISTORY

You know when you meet that person and you know that they are the one right from the beginning? That was how Elizabeth and Daniel were. She was only 18 when she met him, and he was 21. Fresh out of college, and starting his own business. He was helping build the addition to her family’s house, and before she knew it she was head over hills in love with him. The two of them ran off, not even a year into knowing each other and eloped in a few towns over. They knew that everything was just going to be perfect, and before she knew it, Elizabeth was pregnant. She was only 19 years old when she had her first son, but she was ecstatic. It was at that point in time when the couple decided it would be best to go back to her home to at least have family support, which oddly came around better than they expected.

They brought their baby boy into a world filled with love and family. He had no shortage of family, seeing as Elizabeth had 4 siblings, each older than her with their own kids, and Daniel had 2 older brothers as well who had their own family, each who gladly welcomed the little baby into the family. It was easy to say that he was spoiled for the first few years of his life. His family had nothing better than to do than give the boy whatever he wanted. Especially his mother, who adored the baby because he was the first thing that was truly hers, Having so many siblings growing up she had to share so many things, and his parents finally had one thing that if they wanted they didn’t have to share with anyone.

A few years passed though, and when Ryder was 3, his parents decided to have another baby. A little girl. Katharine. Ryder was a good brother they always told him. He loved holding Katharine, and he always kept a smile on the little girl’s lips when she was a baby. It was something he didn’t grow out of as he got older. He was just the type of boy who loved his family, and loved being a big brother. His parents told him stories about how one night he was lying in bed getting ready to sleep and they came in tucking him in and he just told them he was going to pray to Jesus for a baby brother. And he got out of bed and got on the floor and prayed that they would give him a little brother to love as much as he loved his little sister.

He didn’t get that little brother right away, but four years passed, and he was 7 his wishes come true. His parents and god gave him a little brother to love and eventually play baseball with, and do everything those little brothers and big others do. It was easy to say that he was thrilled. And he would sit there by his brother’s crib and talk to him at night, even though the little baby couldn’t understand him. Ryder was just too happy to even care.

It did take a few years for him to actually be able to do anything with that little brother, but it seemed just as Jacob got old enough for him to play with, something in his life happened. He got that simple owl. An owl that changed his life. It was from Hogwarts, and it informed him that he was a wizard. See, Ryder knew what wizards and witches were. His mother’s oldest sister was a witch, and when he did see her, he adored her. Adored what she do, and he could would run around their house with a stick acting like he was a wizard too… and it turned out he was. Ryder was enthusiastic about going, and he honestly couldn’t wait.

A few months went by, and Ryder was off to Hogwarts. He got on the train and rode off with a smile on his face, not letting it even slightly disappear as he went through the sorting ceremony, and was actually happy to be in Hufflepuff, it was the same house that his aunt was in, so he had only heard good things about it. but his fun in Hogwarts did not get to last long, because the next year everything changed. He was not old enough to understand it. but he did know that a new minister of magic was in… and he was changing everything. His aunt and uncle had to change their jobs, and move away. And he learned that once he graduated he was going to have to leave his family as well because he would not be able to stay with them because of which house he was in. he didn’t understand it, and to this day he doesn’t understand it. any of it. but ryder tries not to think about it too much, because well he knows the more he thinks on it the more upset it makes him.

He is a 6th year now, and he has learned to accept the new ways of the ministry. He even has a good Hufflepuff girlfriend who he adores and loves so much. He’s the tpe of guy who is going to make the best out of what life gives him… and if he is going to have to follow this man’s rules, which he will because he knows better than to go against people with more power than him, that he is just going to have a good life. So right now, that is what he is trying to do. He’s living his life to the fullest, and letting the government go and do what it wants.
