PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Madelyn Taylor has dark, chocolate colored hair that falls in loose curls just above the middle of her back. Her eyes are a soft brown with flecks of gold. As for her build, she is on the shorter side of the spectrum, standing at about five feet four inches and she isn’t growing anymore. The girl is extremely athletic because she plays soccer outside of Hogwarts back in America, where she’s from.

As for her choice of clothing, it really depends on what Maddy is up to. She has no problem conforming to the uniform at school, but on weekends, the girl usually dresses casually in jeans and a t-shirt. She doesn’t wear a lot of makeup because, well, who has the time in the morning? This girl literally rolls out of bed five minutes before her class starts, tosses on her uniform and sprints to her class. She’s quite lazy and doesn’t particularly care what other people think of her by the way she dresses. If she’s going out to a party, depending on the type, she’d either wear heels, jeans and a nicer shirt, or a cute dress, even if she prefers her muddy old cleats and a soccer jersey over that any day.

PERSONALITY: Madelyn Taylor is the kind of girl that has more friendly acquaintances than she does friends. She has her group of close friends that she would jump in front of a hex for, literally, she would take a bullet for these people. The friends she has made in Hogwarts are pretty much her second family, an alternate one, because her real family consists of muggles. The girl loves to joke around and make snarky comments about things. She has her crazy analogies and stories to tell. Maddy is also a legilimus. She can’t exactly read your mind word for word, but she can feel the mood in your mind through a color that flashes behind her eyes and occasionally she will see a flash of an image.

Due to her sarcastic and snarky comments that some people might take the wrong way, she does have a handful of people that don’t exactly favor her. Elites in the school look down upon Miss Taylor because of her bloodlines. She doesn’t know of one person in her family that was magical (little does she know that her great grandmother attended Hogwarts as a Ravenclaw). At school, Madelyn gets solid grades due to the help and tutelage she receives from her friend Rose. Maddy has a hard time grasping subjects such as charms and transfiguration. Potions isn’t difficult for her seeing as there are definite instructions, which she happens to be good at following most of the time.

As for love, this girl has had her fair share of boyfriends and hookups. She goes out to parties and drinks, dances like there’s no one watching and just loves to have a good time. Her friends come before boys and that’s something that she sticks to. Madelyn wouldn’t be considered a slut in any way. She doesn’t sleep around much, or at all really. Occasionally she’ll have a hookup or two at a party or with one of her guy friends if she’s drunk or in the mood. The relationship between her and her past boyfriends had been more along the lines of super close friends as opposed to all of that mushy romantic crap. She’d rather just chill and kick a soccer ball around with this guy than go out on a romantic dinner date.

HISTORY Madelyn Taylor was born eighteen years ago in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Her childhood was pretty normal growing up. She was a wired child, the kind of kid that was always running around, getting dirty and coming come with skinned knees. Her main childhood activity was soccer, but she also played basketball and football pickup games with the boys in the park. Her neighborhood within Jacksonville was safe enough for her parents to let her run around in the playground with her friends after school as long as she was home before dinner.

A little while after her eleventh birthday, Madelyn discovered magic, well, not really. She didn’t exactly know what it was or how to explain it until she received her Hogwarts letter. Her cousin (who lives in England) took her to Diagon Alley to buy her supplies and the kid wandered around doe eyed, like a kid in a candy store, almost unable to comprehend what was happening around her. Ever since that day, her cousin became like an older sister to her. The woman isn’t all too familiar with the wizarding world, but she knew more about it than the nothing that her parents did. Her parents knew about her acceptance to a magic school, but they didn’t know what to make of it. Basically, they convinced themselves that their daughter is attending a soccer-centered boarding school in England. They sort of just frown at their daughter with eyebrows furrowed with confusion when she mentions something magic-related.

Now at Hogwarts, Madelyn has her close group of friends, one of which is Rose Knight. The two girls have been attached at the hip since they met way back in their fist year. They help each other survive daily life at this school, always have and always will. This year is their last year at Hogwarts and she’s determined to make it the best. When she graduates, she’s not exactly sure what she wants to do. Part of her wants to go back to North Carolina to attend muggle college and continue her studies, and the other part of her wants to stay in the wizarding world and become a healer or a detective of some sort for the ministry. In her second year, the laws changed. At first, it scared the twelve year old. To comfort herself, she kept telling herself that it would be just like dorming at Hogwarts. She would have Rose right there by her side. Often Madelyn wonders if the whole situation applies to muggle borns. She could always just leave England and not come back, right?
