PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Her most distinctive feature is of course her fiery red hair, seen even through a sea of people. It is rather long and reaches about mid-shoulder length, bangs falling just above her eyelashes. She doesn't wear much make-up, preferring the natural look, but she will dress up when the occasion calls for it. She tries to always look her best, but doesn't act pompous about it, not wanting to be seen as one of those snooty Slytherins. She doesn't like to wear high heels and will shy away from such outfits, preferring to stick to flats or converse if she has to wear any sort of Muggle attire. When not seen in her robes, she usually wears sundresses or just jeans and a t-shirt, her fashion sense none too picky. She does tend to gravitate towards the vintage Muggle look, however, wearing buttoned up shirts and skirts when she feels like looking nice or she's just in the mood to. Her outfit definitely depends on her mood, however, even if she feels shitty and she knows she has to look nice, she'll spare herself the embarassment and dress up anyway.[/font]
She certainly fits her name sake in the sense that she's petite and fierce as well as a natural at Potions, it not being rare to see smudges of dirt along her forehead or nose. When she's working on something, whether it be homework or a prank even, she'll wear her hair in a ponytail for it helps her concentrate. It's best to leave her alone during these times, unless you're part of the prank she's planning, otherwise she might snap on you. She only stands at 5'4'' and is rather short, but her demeanor makes up for it, becoming intimidating at times when she's peeved off. It takes alot to really get under her skin but if you do, you better prepare for the hurricane of your life for if Lily's going down, she's taking you with her. Despite being a redhead, she only has freckles along her shoulder blades and a couple along her arms and she's thankful for such a blessing. She would hate to be covered head to toe in freckles, how embarrassing.

BOGGART: her boggart forms into Bellatrix Lestrange, her fear being that her true self will finally rip out of her soul and take hold, forcing her to become a Death Eater. She fears that even though she is a Potter, it won't matter and her true calling will really be in the Dark Arts, her life falling into the hands of that vile woman. In order to vanish it, she imagines a large house falling atop of Bellatrix, much like the witch from that muggle movie Wizard of Oz, and it makes her laugh every time, fully distinguishing the fear.
PATRONUS: her happiest memory was when she and her family had taken a day to play Quidditch in their back yard, of course this was when she was younger and before all the laws came into place, but it is probably her fondest memory. They were all so happy and she'd give anything to go back to that moment and re-live it. Her patronus takes the shape of a fox.

PERSONALITY: Lily is a caring person, mainly towards her family and close friends, and she would do anything for them at the drop of a hat. She switches between personalities and wears many faces, usually shifting between goofing off, more so around her family, and being aloof and cold. She keeps up appearances around her family, acting happy so they don't begin to worry about her, which was the breaking point in a large family as everyone was always up in your business. However, in all reality, she is actually pretty happy when around them. She's more herself, laughing and pranking with her brothers and the like. She keeps herself hidden otherwise, preferring not to talk about herself or the thoughts stirring within her mind for she's not sure of how to express it, which usually leads to her bottling everything up inside until she explodes. Vulnerability is certainly not her strong suit.
She can definitely stand her own ground and doesn't take kindly when others taunt her or her family, having always been fierce. Though she keeps her emotions to herself, her temper can come biting back if anyone so much as touches a hair on any of her family's heads, she will never back down. If it ever came down to a war, she'd fight with her last dying breath to save her family. She's learned to control her anger over time, realizing that it would only lead to her downfall, and instead gets back at others in sly ways. Even if her revenge doesn't come right away, it certainly hits the target in a particularly touchy spot and they are only met by a smirk on the young redhead's lips. She's rather wise for her age and has gained a lot of knowledge through all the books she has read as a child and even now as she continues to grow. She's honestly a bit surprised she ended up in Gryffindor, not that she's not happy with it as she knows what would happen should she have been sorted into any other house, but she had expected to land into Slytherin, though as she looks upon them now she's glad she's not there. They are not the type of people she wants to be surrounded by, she's much better off where she is and she feels so much more at home in Gryffindor.
She's perceptive and can pick up on another's vibes and emotions, which she finds ironic considering she doesn't even know how to feel. Course, she knows she can feel for she's felt anger and pain before but she's become numb over the years, unsure of how to act in certain situations and so puts up a facade, having learnt well from watching her family. She's always been believable ever since she was little, a talent she surely picked up from her mum, and could lie her way through anything. Her mum's caught her a few times here and there for she's no fool of course, but Lily has gotten better at it, able to convince her entire family that she's still this perfect little angel even though she's anything but. Though she cares about her family, she remains closed off from them when it comes to certain topics such as love or death for she feels nothing for either, but she plays it off as if she's just embarassed by the crush she has or saddened by the recent death. She's not as great of a person as she portrays and is actually a rather heartless bitch but her family isn't any the wiser for she treats them with the utmost respect for she does love them. She doesn't think it's fake for she merely cares only for her family and feels nothing for anyone else so it's not like she's lying, however she can be rather charming and manipulative when she chooses, though that's really more in desperate situations.

FAMILY harry james potter, 42, head auror
ginevra molly potter, 41, daily prophet quidditch correspondent
james sirius potter, 7th year, gryffindor
albus severus potter, 6th year, gryffindor
HISTORY Growing up had always been a bit of a hassle, what with all the Weasleys and Potters running about it was a wonder any of them got any sleep. Fortunately, Ginny had only planned on having three kids, the oldest being James. He was two years older than Lily and she had to admit, she used to look up to him. He was older, obviously cooler, and she tried to act like him, he being so suave and smooth all the time. Her other brother was only a year older than her and they grew pretty close over the years, Lily steadily gravitating toward spending more time with Albus, however she loved each equally. The three were normally pretty happy and didn't have many complaints, Lily spending most of her time either reading or playing outside. She grew up already loving Quidditch, picking up her talent from her father as she played Seeker every time. Her brothers always wanted to play anything else, knowing what kind of pressure would fall upon their shoulders if they ever decided to be a Seeker but Lily was anything but fearless. She knew was a great Seeker and she was ready to prove it.
It wasn't long before her oldest brother went off to Hogwarts, luggage and owl in tow, leaving Lily and Albus waving goodbye, their parents' hands resting delicately atop their shoulders. They knew that the pair were more than ready to go to Hogwarts but they had to wait their turn. Albus was the luckier one, only having to wait a year while Lily had to wait two. She spent her time wisely, reading up on all she could so as to better prepare herself and she was practically going to explode having to wait to get her wand. That was really the one thing she was looking forward to, magic astounding her mind. She was lucky to have such great parents by her side when it was Albus' turn, his face all smiles as he turned to wave goodbye. Lily held back tears as she waved, remembering Albus' reassurance that soon she would be joining him and she need not worry. She supposed this is where her personality took a major shift, the time on her own more than enlightening of the true person she was.
As she thought back on all of her memories, she realized she didn't have a sincere emotion to go along with any of them. She was numb to sympathy, empathy, what have you and she only just realized it at the tender age of ten. Her parents noticed a slight difference but thought they didn't have anything to worry about, that Lily was just going through some changes. The entire Wizarding World seemed to follow right along with her as the newly instated Minister of Magic had stumbled upon this stone which all had thought to be a fable, that there couldn't possibly be a rock that could change you by just a simple touch. But all were soon proved wrong as the Minister began changing magical law, his most upheaving being one which stated that all communities would be separated by the original Hogwarts houses. As if they weren't divided enough already when in school, now the Minister had to come and make it the same as soon as they graduated. Upon leaving Hogwarts, each student from each house was supposed to live in the required location that all of their other house mates did, the benefits hardly worth the bother. It seemed the Slytherins were still being valued more as they had control over all of the high paying jobs, aka Ministry jobs, although they were the only ones not to be restricted to a single career; they could do anything they pleasedas if that was anything new. Ravenclaw had control over the smart careers and Hufflepuff and Gryffindor were intangled within the same job system, the Minister obviously not giving two shits about them.
She became increasingly nervous, scared the Sorting Hat would consider putting her into Slytherin, Lily having read about the houses prior to her acceptance, as well as asking Albus and James about them. She remembered Albus having the same fear and she could only swallow her fear and hope that she resided alongside the same house as her family for if she didn't, she would be required to leave them upon graduation and join the rest of her house mates elsewhere. Her parents reassured her, just as they had with Albus previously, and she tried to gain her courage back. She had always been strong willed so she was able to bounce back, her eyes shut as she sat atop the stool where the Sorting Hat would finally announce her fate. It struggled, wavering between its claims that she had a cleverness about her but that her bravery eventually won in the endas well as her disregard for the rules, sealing her fate as a Gryffindor. A sigh of relief escaped her lips as she jumped off and joined her house mates, sitting beside Albus before becoming enveloped in his embrace. She relished in the fact that she and her family wouldn't be seperated and though she was never the best at showing her love for them (however her brothers hold a very special place in her heart, they being the only ones who can see through her), she loved them immensely and she was more than relieved at the outcome. She was fiercely protective over them, despite being the youngest, and quelled any and all insults towards their characters should she hear it.
Despite her emotionless exterior, she cared very deeply for her brothers and showed it in her own way. She was glad they were able to grow up in the same house together, whenever Lily needed an ear to listen, it would be waiting for her down in the common room. They brought out the best in her, so she felt, and she is angered by the fact that despite her brothers' talents, the only jobs they would be able to get would be along the lines of bartenders or shop keepers and they deserved so much more. Though she has a few years to go before she graduates, she wants to somehow find a way to change the system, to bring the Wizarding World back into its original state. She hates what it has become and passion is reigniting within her, Lily feeling as if she was born to do this. She's tired of sitting on the sidelines just watching the world turn to black, she intends on changing it and the ice is slowly chipping away from her heart. She knows she will probably always keep her emotions hidden, but they are gradually starting to become exposed, or rather she's just becoming more self-aware, especially at the daunting future that lays before every house besides Slytherin. She doesn't want to go about things foolishly, wanting to keep a level head and soon enough, she hopes to make the world shift onto its normal axis again.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:she was almost done with an essay she had to write for potions, the length being a bit of an issue, though she wasn't too far away from completing it. she wanted nothing more than to grab her firebolt and fly across the sky, let these worries that filled her head ceased to exist. flying had become a stress reliever ever since her third year and whenever she felt conflicted or down, she'd just sneak on down to the quidditch pitch and fly around for a couple hours. it was usually occupied at various times by different houses who needed to practice but she couldn't see a soul around. the grounds weren't completely empty, a few students milling about here and there. she knew if she ever wanted to complete this assignment, she would need to focus, and she tried to snap herself back into reality. it had been hard for her to concentrate recently, her moods attempting to get the better of her, but she did her best to push it to the back of her mind. no sense in worrying about it unless something really serious occurs, but she's sure she could stop it by then.
focus straining, she brought her chesnut eyes down to glance at the parchment before her. for the next ten minutes, she spent her time devising the best way to construct her sentences, quill scribbling away, seeming louder in the silent common room. once she was finished, she couldn't help but grin and bring her paper up to her face, analyzing every line to make sure it made sense, her eyes scowering for any neglegent mistakes. it looked decent enough and she slipped it into the school bag that lay beside her at her feet before grabbing it and running up to her dorm, tossing it atop her bed. one of her room mates threw a pillow at her, obviously nursing a hangover, before scowling and telling her to shut the door for the light was too bright. rolling her eyes, tegan grabbed her wand from atop her bedside table as well as her firebolt that lay against the wall and complied to the girl's request, though didn't hesitate to slam the door loudly, guffawing at the many shouts of protest emminating from inside the room. luckily, she didn't get too many hang overs, though she assumed that was because she knew just how much alcohol she could handle and didn't usually take more than she can handle, knowing that would lead to trouble in the morning. considering the others were also in ravenclaw, she assumed they would know better.
she shook her head in amusement, skipping down the stairs and into the common room, giving one last glance at the grounds and grinning, her eyes falling to the broom in her hand and the happiness that she knew would ensue upon being in the air. her steps were quick as she made her way through the many corridors, trying not to get annoyed by the hustle and bustle of students in front of her. most of them didn't want to go to class and so were trying to walk as slowly as possible. well obviously that wouldn't do if tegan wanted to get outside and fly so she elbowed her way through the crowd, ignoring the angry looks and vicious whispers. finally, she made it to the large, oak doors leading out to the world and a grin broke out across her features as she pushed with all her might against them. the wind billowed before her, whipping her dark hair back and forth, and she tilted her head back, squinting at the sky. it looked as if it was about to rain and any normal person probably would've decided to just fly later but tegan had been waiting all day to fly and she'd be damned if a little drizzle ruined her plans.
intention clear in the stride of her walk, she hurried as quickly as she could towards the magnificent quidditch pitch. she was a little more than surprised to see that the gryffindor team wasn't out practicing for she knew their caption had a bit of a mean streak when it came to the sport, wanting nothing less than shear perfection from the players. though she loved her captain, she would love to be pushed more, have more of a challenge. she would love to practice in the rain for it would only better their chances, quidditch wasn't cancelled because of bad weather after all. she ended up in the middle of the field, her eyes scanning the stands as she took in the sights surrounding her. she would never be able to get enough of this place, that much was obvious. kicking her leg over her broom, she situated herself before taking off into the air, eyes fluttering shut for a moment as she weaved her way in and out of the keeper's goal posts. never had she felt more relaxed than this and her eyes snapped open, knowing she couldn't fly blind forever. she thought she saw a figure in the distance but wrote it off as sheets of rain. no one in their right mind would come out in the middle of the pouring rain, well, besides her of course. she snickered at the thought before pretending to chase an imaginary snitch around the pitch, her speed in no way deterred because of the weather.
