PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: there are two sides to gabriel. literally. as the well-known assistant to the minister of magic, gabriel is a young-looking, fresh and handsome young man with shaggy blonde hair and a well-built body. a natural and perky looking man, gabriel is branded as one of the most desirable men in the world. in the ministry, gabriel is suited in a simble black jacket and trouser combo with a dark tie and crisp white shirt. he's always dressed to his best and his smartest, it seems effortless for gabriel to look amazing. but that's just what the world can see, what they're allowed to see of gabriel.

the man himself looks more like a clown than a criminal, but even though he may seem like a clown, he is nothing near one when you get a close-up. his painted smile is permanent. how? it was carved into his face, showing a gut-wrenching grin, that is constantly on his face. his hair was bleached green, and it is tossed aside, greasy, and short. his face is covered in paint which hides his true identity. a white mask, a blood-red mouth, and frightening black eyes. gabriel may seem harmless, and his clothing would make you think so too.

a purple suit, that was most likely stolen, hangs on his body. it is a more colorful version of a working-class-man's suit, ironically like the suit he wears as the ministry gabriel. he even wears a lovely striking green tie, just to show his 'colorful' side. and he wears a rather pretty flower in his chest pocket. a flower that is filled with fatal toxins.

PERSONALITY: there are many twisted and unknown sides to him. gabriel has been referred to as the joker, the clown prince of crime and the ace of knaves. he has taken three forms. the original and currently dominant image is of a fiendishly intelligent psychopath with a warped, sadistic sense of humor. the other is that of an eccentric but harmless prankster and thief. and the third? an intellectual and upper-class young man.

first to be discussed is his public appearance as a ministry employee, said to be married with a child. a doting father, and yet devoted to his job as the assistant to the minister of magic. gabriel is quiet, but he's not shy. he relishes in putting across his views that are more so than not listened to and agreed with. gabriel has a way of persuading anyone to agree with him. his position as the assistant to one of the most powerful men in te wizarding world has mixed opinions on those in the public. but gabriel is a simple and intelligent man. no-one has questioned his past, how he became so high-class. people just assume he was lucky. they are far from right.

the side that people don't see of gabriel - well they do see him, but would never guess it was gabriel - is that of his uncontrollable desire to rid the world of what he believes to be evil. he has slaughtered many victims, and he appears to have no pattern, making him difficult to trace. the world knows next to nothing about him. he believes he is doing the world a favour, clensing it while still having a jolly good time. he was always a misunderstood being, a shame because he had so much potential. his imagination rockets sky high, and though he's marked as insane, the people who pay closer attention can see, and fear, that he's actually more intelligent than all of them.

FAMILY mark and samantha rainey, both deceased.
HISTORY those who have studied gabriel have concluded that he is convinced he lives two lives, two polar opposite lives. these lives will both be discussed, and both start the same.

born and raised in south carolina, in a run down hotel that his father, mark owned for a short period of time. they were living there illegally, but with no neighbours and not many stopping in their cars to take a look who would find out? the trio family were on a rocky patch. mark was drinking like a fish, samantha, mark's wife and gabriel's mother, was working in prostitution for money. the income was terrible, but just enough to buy cigarettes, booze and food. samantha was a witch, however hadn't performed any type of magic in years. she had no wand and had forgotten most of the simplest spells. mark was never aware of samantha's heritage, nor should he. their marriage was a complete joke. they were high school sweet-hearts and got married when samantha realized she was knocked up. lovely story, don't you think?

gabriel was never sent to school. instead, he roamed around the hotel and carved drawings into the walls and floors. his drawings were unusual and haunting. one of which took up an entire wall. the drawing showed a boy crying, and in his shadow was a ghost, towering over the boy, most likely about to do something horrible. these kind of 'artistic' skills were everywhere in the hotel. gabriel had nothing else to do, but his father would shout at him, punishing him for what a child could only do in a place such as the one he lived in. gabriel doesn't remember much of his childhood, just that it was painful and terrifying. there was one night in particular that changed the boy forever. mark was soaking in his drunken state, lying across a sofa in the living room. gabriel was sitting in the corner, just watching the state of his father. samantha arrived home late at night, exhausted from walking home from the town. she was about to greet her son with a kiss when mark rose from the sofa and flung his empty bottle of rum at her. you can see where this is going.

samantha was murdered that night. but so was mark. by who, you ask? the only other person in the room. gabriel. mark was impaled through the head with a kitchen knife. good riddance to the worst family in the world.

gabriel fled his home, fled his country and the whole of the united states. he snuck on a ship headed to britian and did what he was best at, wandering through the streets of london, begging for a spare penny. you'd think he was scared, but infact he was excited. to finally escape that hotel he never thought he'd leave. gabriel's first victim was on the news even in britian. he wasn't afraid of getting caught. every time he saw the headline 'DEATH BY OFFSPRING', gabriel would smile smugly.

he was huddled in an alley one morning when an owl swooped over his head and dropped a letter in his lap. an invitation to be more precise. an invitation to attend hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. gabriel had not a moment to lose. he was found on the streets only a moment later by an odd man in rich colored robes. a wizard! the wizard and boy trotted together to diagon alley as gabriel ws informed and explained about hogwarts, how it would fund his school necessities and so on. gabriel was overjoyed, not because it was a school of magic, but that it was a school, to learn. it was all a great rush from when he got his letter, right to when the sorting hat had placed him in ravenclaw.

his years at school were a breeze, but gabriel wasn't ever going to be an academic student. he was more passionate about the practical side of learning. he would never listen to write down notes and in the long run, gabriel failed most of his classes. but the teachers had nothing but good things to say about gabriel. he was intelligent and creative and his sense of humor got everyone giggling. gabriel was quite the social butterfly at hogwarts. he had too many friends to count and more than enough female admirers. one stuck out like a sore thumb, though. she was a fresh-looking brunette who didn't seem interested in him ever. mia mclaggen had gabriel hooked since school.

after graduating, gabriel sought out a job as a local owl postal worker. he would go door to door around hogsmeade, mailing owls to doors and earning a decent income. it was during his young adolescence as an adult when he found mia again. she was sitting on a bench just outside the leaky cauldron. gabriel was confident enough to sit down next to her without an invitation, and from then on, they would see each other every day. the romance bloomed and gabriel was a hit with the mclaggen family, except for mia's disapproving father. still, gabriel had a family again and had proposed to mia five months into the relationship. there was greater news when mia announced her pregnancy with gabriel's child. a family within a family was growing and gabriel was more than extatic.

now we move on to the other gabriel, the gabriel that hasn't a name but a face to recognise in a split second. we'll call him seth, and he came to the scene just after gabriel's daughter was born. matilda rose rainey. seth had seven lives to his name, slaughtering various witches and wizards in a bizarre and random order. the talk of seth was rising throughout the wizarding and muggle world. people had seen his face, but were never able to track him down. the ministry became threatened when the assistant to the minister of magic was found brutally murdered in his office. it was then that gabriel was summoned to be the minister's assistant. the people of the wizarding world felt more at ease when seth's antics seemed to stop after the arrival of gabriel.

to this day, gabriel is the assistant of he minister. he is a friendly and reassuring face to everyone. however, lurking in his shadow is the man who still remains lurking, taking everything. he's uncontrollable and the world doesn't know when or where he'll strike next. seth.
