Petra push back her blanket and feet dangle from the side. She couldn't fall a sleep and she was getting restless just staring into the black abyss of ceiling. She could hear the steady rhythm of everyone sleeping. She couldn't wake up Lisa because she was actually afraid of sleepy Lisa. She was mean and scary when she was half a sleep.
She dress as quietly as she can but her roommates could sleep through anything. She dress in a simple outfit and made her way to the kitchen. She enter the kitchen to found busy and bustling. The smells that drifted to her nose made her mouth watered with hunger.
She love house elves and she wasn't one to miss treat one. They were good creatures and the ones she had at her home and the ones here were so nice. She couldn't even be rude to them with out feeling guilty.
“Hello, deary.” Said a house elf as she sat down. “What would you like?” The house elf said cheerfully even though it was late into the night. “Can I have some cookies and milk?” She ask the house elf. The elf smile; “Sure thing, sweetie.” The house elf place a plate of warm chocolate cookies and a glass of milk in front of her. She smiled and began eating. She needed to stop coming here when she couldn't sleep. She was only gaining weight and soon her figure will be gone.
After eating her cookies and finishing off her milk. She thank the house elf who help her and step into the dark, empty corridors. She was use to darkness, after all the slytherin common rooms were located in the dungeons. Even the word dungeon made anyone think of dark. It took a minute for her eyes adjust from light of the kitchen to the darkness of the corridors.
She had turn a corner seeing that someone else was there too. She hope it wasn't a perfect since she wasn't exactly heading back to her dorm. She wanted to walk around the castle some more and get tired. She creep over the wall to find it was Hugo. It wasn't weird to find him out there after all he was a perfect. She watch as he look around making sure no one was around in a guilty sort of way. Like he was doing something he shouldn't be doing and making sure no one was following him. Interesting. She said as she follow a safe distance behind him for him not to notice her. She stop at the main door that led the grounds.
Petra could hear the wind blowing making a eerie sound that made her think about her childhood fears. The wind was cold and she wish she had worn a thicker jacket but yet again she wasn't even thinking about going outside. She look at the sky and show no moon but she knew today was the full moon. After he got far away enough that she wouldn't be caught but still be able to see. She started to move. She clumsily follow him. Her eye sight was that use to the darkness and the ground below her was not flat. It had pit falls and rocks.
It was to late to balance herself after tripping on rock. She land on the ground and she happen to fall over died leaves. “Owwwww.” She whine as she sat up. The leaves under her crunch as her body moved. She just hope Hugo didn't hear her.
