For most people, being called to the headmaster's office was a bad thing and this was no exception for Kelsey. Every single time she got a letter from the headmaster to go to their office, there would only be two reasons why. The first reason was because she was failing a class, or got one too many detentions. The second reason was the one she hated the most. The second reason was if her father wanted to speak with her. That was usually the time she would get yelled at for some reason or another and as she sat down on the grounds and a ravenclaw prefect handed her the headmaster's letter asking her to go to their office, Kelsey knew that it was for the second reason.
See, Kelsey had gotten herself into a bit of a situation over the years. Last year, before she finished off her fifth year, her behavior had gotten to the point where the word expelled was thrown around. They told her that if she didn't have her act together by her sixth year, she would be thrown out. The only reason why she wasn't already kicked out was because her father was the Minister. Sadly though, she was only two weeks into her sixth year and already managed to get six detentions and permanently kicked out of one class for drinking. Even Kelsey knew she had messed up badly this time and now she would have to face the wrath of Robert.
As Kelsey made her ever so slow journey towards the Second floor, she began to go over various scenarios in her mind. Where would she go if she got kicked out of Hogwarts? Surely her father would try to lock her up or something. What would her mother do? Would her mother be so mad that she would not stop Robert from making Kelsey's life hell? A shiver went down her spine. She used to be such a good kid. Now she was just a difficult pain in the behind. She knew that she was better than this but her hatred for her father was so immense that she had to act out like she does.
Kelsey walked up the stairs with her eyes on the ground, looking like she was walking off to her death. In a sense she was. There was no way that they would not not suspend her. Then again, maybe she did want to be kicked out. If she was no longer welcomed to Hogwarts, she would be able to start her plan of running away. It could be her chance to start over. She would just have to survive this meeting and manage to sneak past her father's watchful eye.
After walking for what seemed like forever, Kelsey was rounding the corner to the headmaster's office. The headmaster was waiting for her and told her to go straight up and that her father would be n there any moment. Sighing, Kelsey made her death walk up the final flight of stairs and into the office. To her surprise it was completely empty there. Usually her father was already there with a scowl on his face and a lecture prepared. As she sat down in a chair, she began to hope that he would not show up. Though she didn't show it to his face, she was actually pretty scared of her father. Nowadays, there was no telling what he would be capable of doing.

[atrb=width,400] words: 606 tagged: kelsey notes: time for drama Yet again Robert received another letter from the Headmaster he put in Hogwarts about his lovely daughter, Kelsey. Six detentions, and only two weeks into the term! The only thing that kept her in Hogwarts was because she was his daughter. Kelsey was not the girl Robert remembered her as. She was usually bright, happy, never really getting into such serious trouble. Now, she was the complete opposite, and Robert blindly could not figure out why. It had all started so suddenly, in the middle of the last Hogwarts term. This was right around the time Robert started separated from his wife, er, ex-wife. When the divorce officially went underway, Kelsey only grew worse.
He had finally figured it out. Kelsey was acting out, for some reason or other. He felt the root cause was the divorce. Robert had specifically explained to Kelsey that none of it was her fault, it was mostly his. It was not that he did not love the mother of his children anymore, it was just…well, and he was an arse. Robert had just wandered one too many times. Besides, he knew it was probably for the better. He was not making his wife happy, what with not really being around and such. It was better this way. In the end, they would be happier. Besides, he had essentially already half moved on, in a way. There was a part of him that would always love his wife but, their relationship could not be repaired.
Robert made the quick journey via floo network to Hogwarts. His fireplace was connected to the headmasters for easy access. The anti-apparition charm was still enacted on school grounds. Ancient magic protected the school, Robert was not about to mess with that. Besides, he wanted to keep Hogwarts protected. It was important to him, as a father. He exchanged words with the headmaster, who sent and owl to Kelsey to come to his office. The headmaster left, to do other things that did not require him to lurk around the office. Robert wanted privacy, and he got what he wanted when he wanted it.
Robert was leaning back against the desk in the room, his arms crossed as he waited for Kelsey to grace him with her oh-so-lovely self. He was trying to figure out what to say first, and how to put it. Her behaviour was getting to be ridiculous. He needed a drink for this conversation. With some time to spare, Robert floo’ed back to his office so he could down a quick drink before floo’ing back. By the time he did get back, Kelsey had shown up, and she was sitting down. After arriving, Robert immediately put his hands in his trouser pockets, and started to pace the room, behind Kelsey.
He allowed several minutes of silence to pass before he even said anything. ”If I was not in the position I am, you would be out of an education,” Robert started, feeling like he had said that to Kelsey before. He continued pacing and did not even bother to look at her. ”I am sick and tiring of hearing about how horrible you are. Do you actually want to have a future, or do you plan on living as a homeless drunken whore for the rest of your life?” Yup, straight off the bat he dove right into being an arse. It is what he did best. ”You were raised better than that. You know better. I would really like to know why you are acting like this. So, enlighten me.” Robert stopped pacing, and gave Kelsey a hard, cold, furious, stare.

Waiting for her father to show up in the office felt like a lifetime. Though, the silence and being totally alone did give her time to reflect on everything. She first started acting out when her father became Minister and made those damn rules. Her grades dropped slightly and she got a detention here and there but it was nothing major. Then, her parents got divorced. She saw this coming of course. For years she had to watch her mother, sit home knowing that her husband was out with some whore that he met that night. The fact that her father was cheating really hit her one night during summer vacation. It had been raining, hard and the thunder had woke her up, she was only thirteen at the time and still scared of the noise. Like she had done so many times before, she would run downstairs and sit in her father's chair. It was dark in the room but she didn't care. Something about that chair made her feel safe and protected. Seeing as it was dark, Robert didn't notice Kelsey in the room as he flooed in. It was the sight of him that made her stomach churn. He held his suit jacket in his arms while his top was untucked and there was lipstick on his collar. He wreaked of cheap perfume that made Kelsey's stomach sick. Immediately Robert headed for the bathroom to wash up and she sat in that chair, fully understanding that her father was a cheating bastard.
When the divorce finally hit, something inside Kelsey snapped. She did not blame herself for what had happened. No, she knew that was Robert was to blame. It was then that she began to want to make sure this never happened to her. She didn't want to get hurt like her mother was hurt. She didn't want someone to have to help her when she cried like she had to help her mother so many times after the divorce was final. She didn't want to get attached to someone and then just be hurt afterwards. Her father did teach her something though. He taught her that men only looked out for themselves. She didn't want to be the one that was used. She would be the one doing the using. When she started fully sleeping around, it gave her this power and this feeling of control that she thought was lost to her. She loved every second of it.
Kelsey was finally snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Robert begin to speak. She did not remove her eyes from the floor as he paced around, giving her the same old lecture. She had to bite her tongue though because if she snapped before he was done, it would not be good for her part. When he was finally done, Kelsey had to try to contain her anger from his insults. If she didn't she would probably kill him right then and there.
"You want to know why I am acting like this?" Kelsey snorted, her eyes finally landing on him. "You and I both know you don't give a damn what the reason is behind my behavior. You just want it to stop and me to be the perfect daughter so your image won't be ruined and you won't have to deal with me ever again. Well news flash, Robert, as long as I am here, I will act like this," She spat out. So much for the controlling her anger. Then again, she did inherit her father's temper. "Oh, and I wouldn't go calling me a drunken whore since you are basically the same thing. Or have we forgotten how many people you've slept with over the years?" She smirked. At this point she was basically just trying to get him more angry.

[atrb=width,400] words: 580 tagged: kelsey notes: remind me to tell you something The main problem between Robert and Kelsey was simple. She had his temper. A furious Robert, mixed with an equally furious Kelsey just did not mix. If there ever was an audience to one of their arguments, it was sure to be hilarious to them, or scaring…depending on what sort of sense of humour one had. It did not matter what it was they were arguing about, it would always turn into a shouting match. As of late, he got scarier than normal when he was angry. Kelsey used to be afraid of this. Now, it seemed she challenged him.
Robert’s face felt slightly warmer as he began speaking in a not very polite tone. It was clearly obvious he was angry. Anyone could spot that a mile away. He knew the second Kelsey would open her mouth he was going to fly off the handle. It was utterly pointless for him to try and control his temper. It really was. Part of him, the small, teeny, tiny part of his old self that managed to hang on was all that kept him from really hurting someone, like Kelsey. That wee part grew weaker every second of every day. Pretty soon, he felt that part would be gone, and he didn’t even care – the bad parts of him. Good riddance, in his opinion. That tiny part was beginning to get really annoying.
Sometimes he would wake up from some sort of sleep and wonder where he was, what he was doing, etc. He could not remember a damn thing for weeks, months back, sometimes even a whole year. This brief bought of amnesia usually only lasted a whole five minutes, and then everything would come back. Robert was a completely different person than he was six years ago, and that was when he had changed. It had happened slowly over time but, you could not deny that it happened. Even he knew something had happened to him. The bad parts just beat down the good part that was left. You could say, if a comparison had to be made, he was like a modern Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in a way only, Hyde had already won and Jekyll did not stand a chance. Hopefully, Robert would not die as the story goes.
Robert withdrew his hands from his pockets, which had formed into fists without him realising it. Oddly, a dark smile fell on his face. Just as he expected, Kelsey lashed back out at him. Her words held truth. He really did not give a rats arse why she was acting like she was, he just wanted it stop. Honestly, he did not give two hoots about his image, well, maybe he gave one woot. Still, one unruly teenager was not going to destroy the world he had built. Not by a long shot. Robert was still going to attempt to punish her. It was fun, in a sick way, and frankly, this is what they did. He really began to wonder if he could put real fear into her mind.
”True,” Robert commented, in a perfectly calm and steady tone. ”It is different for me than for you. A man who sleeps with any given number of women gets a good label. A girl, and under age girl, who sleeps with any given number of boys, or older men, is automatically labelled a whore. That is society for you,” he said, still in a calm, dark, tone.

As Kelsey sat there, she was quickly reminded why she rarely spent time with her father. Simply being in the same room as him made her blood boil and her stomach sick. He was so arrogant and just a annoyance to be around, in her opinion. It was no surprise that when the divorce happened that Kelsey went to live with her mother. The choice was a rather quick one for her to make. She remembered sitting with her mother when she broke the news to her and her mother told her that she had the choice to live wherever she wanted to. In a heartbeat Kelsey had said that she would move out with her mother and dashed off to pack her things. Living with her father would be a nightmare. She would not have the freedom like she does now. Her mother is so occupied with her own life that she does not notice the mess that Kelsey had became. It was how she wanted to keep things. She knew that if she was living with Robert he would be down her throat all of the time and try to lock her up.
Kelsey never fought with her mother like she did with Robert. Her mother and herself had a fairly good relationship and were as close as someone like Kelsey could get to someone. However, she fought with Robert like there was no tomorrow. Some would say it was because they were so similar. Kelsey always denied being anything like her father but she was just in denial. They had the same temper, the same argument style, and the same cruel smile when they got their way. It was no wonder that these two bumped heads all of the time.
Kelsey couldn't help rolling her eyes when he father spoke. He always tried to sound so superior to her. In her mind, he was not superior. He was simply a little speck that always got in the way of her happiness. She was truly just fed up with him. "Look, I didn't come here to be insulted. It is just simply wasting both of our time," Kelsey snapped, standing up out of her seat. She really was tired of all the fighting and couldn't wait until she could leave his life forever. She had half a mind to just leave right now and never come back. Sadly though, Robert could legally drag her back, seeing as she was not of age yet. "So just say the usual 'Stop this behavior or else' speech and then I will do the usual ignoring you thing and go on to do whatever I damn well please. Got it, old man?" Kelsey finished, a wicked smirk on her face. She picked up her bag that she had discarded on the floor and flung it over her shoulder. She was ready to leave this office. The only thing stopping her was Robert and what he would possibly do if she tried to walk out. She thought for a moment and then decided to go for it. She turned on her heel and began to head for the door, hopefully she would be able to leave.

[atrb=width,400] words: 357 tagged: kelsey notes: time for drama Robert crossed his arms as he waited for a response. He knew all too well how it was going to go. She would shout insults at him, he would give it back. Eventually, after maybe an hour, he would just let her go, leaving to head back to the ministry in anger, disappointment, and disgust. That is how all this usually went between them. This time it would be different. Robert was not going to let her just leave with the last word. Here, in the headmaster’s office, they had total privacy. No one would question what happened behind the closed door. No one would try to ask; at least no one would ask Robert. Kelsey’s….friends, if she even had any, might ask her. He’d make sure she did not talk about.
He watched her carefully as Kelsey replied in her usual teenager way. Of course she was not going to listen to his usual lecture, which was exactly why he was not planning on giving his usual lecture. It was really sort of amusing how she put it. Even her attempt to leave the room was amusing. Robert stared at her, and in a puff of dark, thick smoke, he disappeared and reappeared right in front of the door, blocking Kelsey’s only exit really. How he managed to apparate in Hogwarts really made no sense at all. He should be dead but, perhaps what he did was something different. Honestly, even he did not entirely understand what it was.
All that really did not mattered at this moment. Robert was too angry to actually care, or really realise what it was he was doing. ”What makes you think I’m going to just let you leave?” he asked calmly, and a bit darkly. ”This time, I’m skipping over the lecture and just going straight to the what else part,” Robert added. He was pretty fed up with Kelsey’s attitude lately, as this latest attitude. ”I’m going to tell you how this is going to work. You are going to stop acting like you are, because if you don’t, I’ll make sure you regret ever going against me.”

Lately, Robert had actually been scaring Kelsey. Anyone who was ever close to him could notice a change in his behavior. It was gradual but there was a change that happened. He was less tolerant, more angrier and acted without thinking. It was like nothing was going to stand in his way or try to stop him from getting what he wanted. It was as if he view the world like they were all little ants and he was the giant that could crush them at any moment. Part of Kelsey knew that she shouldn't test him like this. For her own health, she should just let him be and try not to get on his bad side. However, there was this larger part of her that was too stubborn to simply let him win. She needed to have the last word in all of this. She needed to win every argument they had. She wanted to show him that she was not someone whom he could step all over and manipulate. Kelsey needed to be the one to bring his abnormally large ego down to size.
When Robert had apparated in front of her, Kelsey felt a shiver climb down her spine. It is suppose to be that no witch or wizard has the ability to apparated into Hogwarts. How could he do it? Not even the minister would have the authority to do such a thing. Something wasn't right. Her natural curiosity was getting the better of her at the moment. She needed to concentrate at getting out of this argument. However, the way Robert spoke made her fear level rise slightly. She needed to be strong, brave even. Then again, Kelsey was no Gryffindor.
"Listen Robert, I am not one of your little employees that you can boss around. Unlike them, I actually have a brain. So you can take your threats and shove them. I'm bloody well tired of you thinking that you can control my life. You are nothing but some power hungry, over grown toddler who thinks threatening people will give you what you want," Kelsey spat out, her voice cold and her eyes glaring at him like daggers piercing into a heart. Her dislike for this man was pouring out of every fiber of her body. She never knew that it was possible to dislike someone like she disliked her father at this moment.
"In case you haven't noticed, I'm not scared of you. Frankly, I haven't the slightest idea why so many people are. You are nothing but a pathetic arse who managed to ruin half of my life. So, if you could stop acting 6 for just a moment and let me leave that would be ever so wonderful" She finished, planting a noticeable forced fake smile on her face. It felt good to get all of this hatred for her father off her chest. It had been a while since she truly mouthed off to him. It was like a kind of therapy for her. Hopefully, he would simply let her go.

[atrb=width,400] words: idk tagged: kelsey notes: time for drama Oh, so Kelsey was not going to back down, eh? Robert smirked. He had never caused his children any harm, physically at least. He had done his fair share of emotional damage but, now his poisoned mind was pushing him to do worse. ”Funny thing about those threats,” he said with a small chuckle. ”I stopped just threatening a while go. That part got to be a little boring,” Robert continued, tilting his head almost like a child.
Now, he could have just asked Kelsey to sit down but, Robert knew she was not going to do something just because he asked her to. No, that would be listening to him, why would she do that? Nothing short of force would do. He grabbed her firmly, not in any way to cause pain, just to firm enough to let Kelsey know in fewer words that he had had enough of her attitude toward him. Robert had enough of the rebellious teenager act. She thought he would never do anything about it. Now was the time to do something about that.
After grabbing her arms, Robert pushed Kelsey back to the chair. He tried not to get too rough her but, right now all he was seeing was red. There was too much anger for him to actually care except, that small, tiny part of him that did. That part is what kept him from carrying out such threats as he did unto others. He had done more to people when what was out there. Threats were just the beginning. Now that she was back sitting down, Robert stared at her coldly. ”Now, the question is, what should I do with you?”

There are those moments in a person's life where they can sense that something isn't right. As Kelsey stood there, looking at Robert, that feeling washed throughout her entire body. Sure, she fought with him before and hated him, but there wasn't a moment where she feared for her life. Though he wasn't the best father, she had always sensed that Robert would protect her, even if he was angry with her. Now, that feeling was gone. Kelsey didn't feel safe to be in the same room as her father now. She felt as though the man before her was some sort of stranger. She.. well she didn't like this at all.
Now she really wanted to run out of this office. She especially wanted to run when Robert suddenly gripped her arms. For Kelsey, her father had always been about emotional abuse, never physical. He had never felt the need to grip her like this. It seemed to Kelsey that all of this power was getting to his head. It was like Robert thought that he could do whatever he bloody well wanted to anyone he pleased just because he was the minister. This made Kelsey feel uneasy. She knew that if she was smart she would keep her mouth shut and just avoid angering Robert any more. However, the stubborn part of her would not let him win this. She needed to win. She knew that he would not physically harm her. He was just trying to scare her which he was succeeding at, especially when he pushed her down in the chair.
Kelsey kept her eyes up on Robert as she sat in the chair. She needed to plan out what she was going to say but all she could see was rage. No one, and I mean no one, treated her like this. She was not something that someone could just toss around. Her body was filled with rage and fear. She wanted to yell at him but she was scared of what he would do. Sadly for her, her rage was bigger than her fear. The moment Kelsey opened her mouth, she knew this would all end badly.
"YOU shall do nothing with me," Kelsey glared, her hands gripping the arms of the chair, causing her knuckles to go white. "No one, and I mean no one, touches me like that. Don't you ever dare lay another hand on me again. Just because you are the fucking minister doesn't mean you can push around your own daughter. Now just let me leave," Kelsey finished, trying to keep an angry face on. In all reality, she was shaking with fear on the inside. This was the first time that Robert had caused her so much fear. She needed to stay strong though. If she backed down, she would be giving into him. She would not let her father win, not this time.

[atrb=width,400] words: 449 tagged: kelsey notes: time for drama Rage, such a strong emotion, and when mixed with fear, well, hell hath no fury. For a moment, Robert was pretty sure he had seen a spec of fear in Kelsey’s eyes. Fear was all he wanted from her. Did he get it? Only a little but, it was not enough to satisfy him, the new him. Robert did not back off. In fact, he stood right in front of her, making sure she did not try to leave again. Kelsey’s reply was amusing. No one pushes her around, so she claimed, yet he just had. ”Oh, being minister has nothing to do with it,” Robert replied, backing up just a bit more. He did not back up out of fear of what she might do, just to give himself a bit more room to work in.
”No, I’m not letting you just go,” he said, pulling his wand out of his pocket. ”Seems to me, your mother does not seem to care about how you’ve been acting. Actions have consequences, you are no exception. You refuse to listen to me, refuse to change, so, I’m just going to have to make you,” Robert continued, with a small sigh, as if this was a chore for him, or he really felt sorry for what he was about to do. ”The only question I am left, is with just how severe your punishment should be,” he thought out loud.
It would be just one small little glimpse, of one small little curse. No permanent damage what so ever. Well, at least not physical damage. There might be some…mental and emotional damage but, other than that Kelsey would be perfectly able to walk out of this room when he let her go. Robert hesitated, however. He was not just going to whip a curse at her. He was going to wait, draw out the anticipation, the anxiety, the fear of it all. Oh, Kelsey could act as tough as she wanted but he knew that under that she was beginning to just crack.
”Let’s see now,” he began, started to circle slowly around her. ”This has been going on for quite some time, hasn’t it? A little slap on the hand won’t do. Robert stopped circling her once he was right behind her. That small part of him just voiced a big fat no in his head. No?! No?! Oh, come on. It’s just a little fun. It won’t hurt her – much he thought to himself. Still, another no rang in his head. Robert sighed. That good piece that was left of him, that was still alive and kicking was getting to be really annoying and spoil all the good fun.

Fear. That is what Kelsey felt. After all, who wouldn't when they were in this position. The minister of magic, standing over her, threatening her life. However, this man was also her father. A father should not make their child feel this amount of fear of them. She was going to crack soon. She didn't want to but this was something she could not control. Kelsey hastily looked around the room. There were no other room even remotely close to this one and the windows were shut. No one would hear her scream. Would this be her last moments on earth? No, Robert wouldn't kill her, that would be too easy. He would want to make her suffer as long as possible. It would be his way of teaching her a lesson.
There was always the option of giving in. It wouldn't be that hard to become the perfect daughter. Give up the alcohol, the sex and just read all day. Kelsey wouldn't give Robert the satisfaction of changing her. She couldn't give in to his demands. She needed to stay strong, to hold her ground and show Robert she was not something he could control. If she did that though, she would face certain physical harm and lets face it, Kelsey's face was too pretty to be harmed. She needed a plan. Sadly though, she found it hard to think with Robert staring her down. There was something she could do, it was just so crazy it just might work. Lie. Maybe Robert would fall for it. It was a long shot but what other options did she have?
"Listen, there is no need for punishment," Kelsey began. Hopefully she could pull this off and was a better actress than she thought. Another hope that she had was that the Headmaster would demand for his office back and she would be saved from her father. She knew that wouldn't happen though. It was just a silly hope of hers. "Daddy, I'm sorry," she continued. It had been years since she called Robert, daddy. "I know I've been a real pain lately. I guess I was just acting out because I was jealous you weren't paying attention to me anymore. I know it was childish of me and stupid. I was not only ruining my own reputation but the entire family's. I promise I'm going to stop. I realize now that I need to listen to you and respect your wishes. I will start going to class, doing my homework and stop the whole drinking and sex thing. I love you, daddy," She said, her voice sweet and a nice little smile on her face. Hopefully her performance was convincing enough and her father would buy it. There would be no way that she would be giving up her way of life. She simply needed her father to buy into it so she could go on living without being in the hospital wing the rest of her life. The only thing that remained is if Robert would be foolish enough to buy this.

[atrb=width,400] words: 340 tagged: kelsey notes: ugh Robert smirked. He could practically smell her fear. It was like some sick sort of high for him. If his mind had not been so saturated, he would be able to see just what exactly he was doing to everyone. If Robert was his six years ago self, there was no way in hell he would be doing the things he was doing right now. He paced around the chair again, stopping behind it once more. Crucio kept coming to mind but, he wanted to start milder. Full grown adults could not handle that curse, it would be even worse as a teenager, and especially since he had experienced it himself when he was just a bit older than Kelsey.
A fair few hexes and jinxes rolled through his mind. While he thought on it, Robert swung his wand back and forth, holding onto it with his thumb and forefinger. His moments of contemplation were interrupted by Kelsey’s voice. Oh, so now all of sudden she was going to be sweet and innocent? Robert smirked at her use of “daddy” Did she honestly think he was going to believe this sudden turn around? This sort of lying bothered him most. Kelsey must know that, yet she was risking it. Robert was actually slightly impressed she had the balls to do it.
”You have just doubled your punishment for lying,” Robert stated simply, brushing off some fuzz from the sleeve of his suit coat. ”…but, not today,” he said sliding his wand back in his pocket. ”This is a new suit, I would rather not get anything on it,” Robert added, off handedly. ”Let me remind you; I can come and get you any time I want. I can take you somewhere where no one will hear you scream.” Robert came around the chair, giving Kelsey a serious look. ”The next time I have to come here,” he said in a caring-father voice. He carefully pushed some of her hair to the side. ”I won’t be so nice.”

She hated him. Now, it is true that she had used the hate word towards her father many times but she never used it with this much rage behind it. At this moment she was blinded with fury. Rage built inside of her, consuming her entire being. She would be totally consumed by her rage if it wasn't also for the fear that she was feeling. She was totally torn at the moment. Part of her wanted to yell back at her father and stand up for herself but the other part wanted to obey her father and just follow his wishes. The one thing about Kelsey was that she was unpredictable. No person could predict what she would do. Hell, she didn't even know what she would do until the moment presented itself. She was the type of person who would think over certain things and then totally go with the wind with the other things. With her though, it was mostly the go with the wind.
Kelsey tried to calm her mind and think of what to do. However, she knew it was a lost cause. There was no winning this battle with her father. He was simply too different now and too.. scary. All she was depending on now was the lie that she told him and when he did not believe it, she had nothing left. Now he was threatening her. Kelsey did not take kindly to threats. After all, she was Robert's daughter and he was the same way. This just made her blood boil even more. She knew she shouldn't act out. She should do the smart thing and take the easy way out that he was giving her. But she couldn't. She just couldn't. She had a big mouth and just had to let it go. Then he touched her hair and that was the last straw.
"Don't touch me," Kelsey snapped through gritted teeth. She glared at him, her eyes like daggers, her breathing rapid. She felt as through she would explode any moment from all the anger she was holding in. "You know most fathers don't go around threatening their only daughters," She spoke, taking deep breaths, calming herself down. "Then again, you are not like most fathers. To me, you are not even a father. You are just a sperm donor. You know, all this time, when I really thought about it, I thought I wanted to be close to you and then you go and threaten me and make me feel like shit and then it reminds me how pathetic I am to ever think we could be close," She said, her eyes dropping. She was actually coming close to tears for the first time in forever. She wouldn't cry though. That would bring him satisfaction. "You know I'm not going to change. So do whatever you want to do now and save you the trip for next time," she sighed, not looking at him. She was tired. All of this yelling and anger drained her of any energy she had. She wanted to get this over with and go about her days.

[atrb=width,400] words: 443 tagged: kelsey notes: ugh As Kelsey babbled on, Robert wandered back and sat at the headmaster’s desk. He looked around, listening to Kelsey but completely disinterested in what he had to say. This was a pretty nice chair, very nice indeed. Robert’s office chair, of course, was much better. This wasn’t all that shabby. He glanced around all the old portraits. Many were covered up, all except those that had been Slytherins – the good ones, from way back in the beginning of the school’s time. After that, everyone had gone soft.
For the sole purpose of antagonizing her, Robert rose, and walked to her chair, standing behind her to put a hand on her shoulder. He leaned down and spoke quietly into her opposite ear. ”I’m not like most fathers,” Robert said, with a certain dark edginess about his voice. He paused for a moment. ”You were just a mistake,” he said in reply to her sperm donor jab. If Robert was his normal self, if the real Robert was around, there would be absolutely no way in hell he would ever say that. Kelsey may have been an accident but, he never for once regretted making it.
Robert let silence fall again. He tightened his grip on Kelsey’s shoulder. He pulled out his wand and silently casted a charm around the room. ”There. Now no one will hear you scream.” A better idea came to him. He kept up the silencing charm but, next pointed his wand and Kelsey’s throat, mumbling a set of incantations. ”Now you can’t scream, no matter how hard you try. You can’t even talk now, and later, you won’t be able to ever tell anyone what happened to you. You won’t be able to write it down. Only you will know, and you will remember every second. Really, it will only do you some good. It is the only way you will learn.” Robert rose, removing his hand from her shoulder.
He calmly walked over to the door, making it was locked and everything was in place. ”Now, what do I start with,” Robert said darkly, beginning to pace a bit at a slow rate. He kept glancing at Kelsey, expecting her to make a run for it. ”I really had not wanted it to come to this but, you left me with no choice,” he said, still debating on what to do. He could just make one clean sweep and use cruciatus curse, just to get it over with. Other curses came to mind, a few he had devised himself over the years but, this was not really a situation to use those. Robert looked at her, curse in mind.
