BOGGART: bats. they are ugly little creatures. PATRONUS: panther - his memory is concentrated on the three days that his three children were born own. those are days where he put everything aside for his family (for once) and those were days that he was truly happy on and not lying about it. OVERALL: ALL WORK, NO PLAY - robert works. he arrives to work very early, and is always the last to leave. he has always had a strong work ethic, which has helped him get to where he is today. he works hard and diligently, and not always by choice. being the minister of magic is a very time consuming job, and now that he is divorced and essentially his whole family hates him, he had plenty of time to eat, sleep, and practically live at the ministry. but, technically he does play. actually is type of "play" is part of the reason why this poor bloke got divorced from the only woman that can put up with his crap. AMBITIOUS - robert is ambitious in nature. he has worked very hard to get where he is today. it wasn't an easy road, and he did not necessarily do it honestly but, he did what he did to get here. his ambition usually leads him to do things he often regrets later on. as a teenager, this trait was his downfall. while he held the ambition to never turn into his father, he is nearly the same kind of husband and father his own father was. of course, he is in denial to realize this. this ambition has also benefited him professionally. it has driven him to work through the ranks of the ministry straight up to the top. ARROGANT - robert has money, he know he has swag. he knows he's attractive and practically irresistible. plus, now he has power. of course, he knows he can't just going around doing whatever he wants. he is not a dictator. he can just be an arrogant con. (not, con as in con artist. it's a bad name in french that starts with a and ends in e). now that he is at the top of the ministry ladder, he is a bit more socially arrogant but, not business arrogant. COLD-HEARTED - on the exterior, robert may come off as cold and uncaring. he has a hard time sharing his feelings with anyone. it is not that he does not have feelings, he really does. robert is actually a sensitive guy. he's not overly sensitive but, he hates having to talk about his feelings. robert definitely hates having to feel those feelings as well. he usually tries to cover them up with alcohol, but due to his recent election into office, he has had to cut back. you can't have a drunk minister running the country. DECEPTIVE - for a guy that doesn't share his feelings and do that crap, of course he is going to lie. he deceives people by avoiding the truth. this applies to his personal life, not professional. at the ministry, he shares only information worth sharing - information that won't cause panic and all that jazz. he has told lies professionally, considering he is half a politician but, the bulk of his lies were directed toward his family and himself. FIERCE - ...his temper. robert had fast and fierce temper. he is really easy to tick off which may or may not be a bad thing. he used to an interrogator before he was minister, and he was quite intimidating. he was the best extractor in the business. he liked to intimidate others, he makes him feel bigger, more powerful, and all that jazz. MOODY - one minute, he might actually be in a good mood, and then the next he is all gr. he is like a woman with pms. enough said. TRUTH, IT IS A BEAUTIFUL AND TERRIBLE THING. FATHER: victor emerson leblanc, 65, retired MOTHER: rachel catherine fisher leblanc, deceased SIBLINGS: n/a OTHER: n/a WIFE/HUSBAND: ex-wife: --- leblanc CHILDREN: sons; nicolaus robert leblanc, 17 & vincent jacob leblanc, 15 - daughter; kelsey rachel leblanc, 16 HOMETOWN(S): london, england OVERALL HISTORY: PRE-HOGWARTS - robert victor leblanc is the sole son born to victor and rachel leblanc. his father was a well respected death eater. he grew up in a fancy home, had he nice things and all that jazz. growing up, robert became attached to his mother. particularly, because they spent most of his childhood together. his father was always out doing merlin knows what - work for the death eaters, other sorts of work, drinking, sleeping around, beating up his wife...that sort of thing. robert quickly learned to dislike his father, to the point where he hated him. HOGWARTS 1992- 1999 - robert entered hogwarts during a time of great turmoil. slowly, voldemort was returning. for him, robert say a chance to show his father, victor, he was worthy of victor's attentions. robert was sorted in slytherin, studied hard, made friends with important people, and carried on the years. he managed to get some attention from his father, some sort of appreciation. when it came time for the battle of hogwarts, robert did not participate, due to the fact his mother would not allow it. this bothered robert, as he had wanted to chance to. POST HOGWARTS - the summer after robert's seventh year was a defining moment for him. he came home to find his parents arguing, that was nothing new as it consisted more of his father's drunken rage, as eh had never known his mother to yell even during an argument. so, robert witnesses his father attempting to beat on his mother and intervened. the father and son more or less dueled, and after the strong use of the cruciatus curse on his own son, victor fled the house. robert recovered from the curse several hours later but, from that day one, he truly hated his father. a few months later, his mother died, leaving everything to robert. he moved on the best he could and found himself a job within the ministry. robert was a hard worker, and had a fantastic work either. one summer evening, while at a pub with some of his work mates, robert ran into a girl he remembered from hogwarts. they talked that night, well they did more than talk but, that night more or less sealed the deal. a year later, robert married that girl and they grew onto have three children together. robert worked harder and longer to be able to support his family. he did everything he could to not turn out like his father...until he did. some how, some where down the line, robert slipped up and cheated on his wife, and then took to drinking away the guilt. eventually, that led to more cheating, and ultimately in the end, after years of marriage, they were divorced. his children hate him for crushing the once happy family, and he doesn't blame them. when he started at the ministry, he had a less important job. robert has worked through the ranks, year after year. he learned everything he could about the ministry, laws, and all the other ins-and-outs. when the opportunity presented itself, robert took the position of an interrogator. he was very good at it behind closed doors, and had a very high success rate. he moved up higher ranks still, far enough he ran for the recent Minister election. robert beat his rival and not all that fairly. it was about 50-50. while some may have honestly voted for him, others did because he paid them to. either way, it workout out well for him. then, one day he got this random gift from his father. it was rather random and uncharacteristic of victor to do, and all it was was this ruddy stone. whatever was in this stone, it transferred and latched onto robert. he got a tad meaner, created laws to separate everyone, essentially destroying the near 20 year peace. things are still peaceful, just different.
