FATHER: David Remington Valentine, 48, Former Gryffindor MOTHER: Kathleen Maya Valentine, 43, Muggle SIBLINGS:
OTHER: Carmen Megan Valentine, step-mother, 42, former Ravenclaw HOMETOWN(S): India was born in Portsmouth, England OVERALL HISTORY: India and her twin sister, Chyna were born in Portsmouth on the eight of November to David and Kathleen Valentine. David had two older children from a previous relationship, Delta and Turner who adored their younger sisters even if they were a bit jealous of the twins for the attention they were given. India was born a metamorphmagus something that her mother who was a muggle and didn't really understand the magical world was a bit confused by. This was inherited from David's side of the family as his grandmother, Rose was a metamorphmagus as well. Emily was born when Indy was three. India was very jealous of the baby. India started showing magical abilities other than being a metamorphmagus when she was five and Kathleen couldn't handle living in a magical family, divorced David and walked out on the family. India was devastated watching her mother abandon her. Her father was never the same after she left, he became more erratic less put together, less sane. He married a woman named Carmen when India was six. India hated her from the moment she first met her. Another set of twins joined the family when India was seven. She loved Cayla and Preston even if she thought their mother was the most aweful woman she had ever met. India even though she was only ten when the new laws were made she had been against them from the start because she knew that they could potentially tear her family apart. She wouldn't mind being seperated from her father and Carmen, but she hated the thought of being seperated from her siblings particularly Chyna when she was older and graduated Hogwarts. When India and Chyna got their letters they were both excited to be going to the school. India was sorted into Slytherin while Chyna was sorted into Ravenclaw. Their father wasn't pleased by India's sorting being prejudiced against Slytherin. India was glad that with the laws that she would be living away from him and his wife. She was saddened that she would be separated from her siblings particularly her twin in the future though. She de India felt a bit lost without her twin but she applied herself into her school work. She came to love being a Slytherin even if she was sometimes picked on as she wasn't always in control of her ability to change aspects of her appearance such as her eye color and shape and her hair and nose. She is still learning how to control the ability and she is starting to get a handle of it but she still loses her control of it on occasion especailly if she is feeling particularly emotional. She doesn't really care what others think of her rare ability, it was part of what made her her and she wouldn't want to be any other way. Plus she feels it has it's advantages. She joined the Slytherin Quidditch team as a chaser in her third year because she enjoyed flying and she had used to play with her siblings at home. In her fifth year, she was surprised to receive a prefect badge. She did her best to juggle being a prefect, her studies and quidditch. It had been a bit stressful at times but she managed to get through her OWL year with relatively good grades. She had decided ever since she was little that she wanted to be a healer so that had been her priority all along. WE KNOW WE'RE CALLED GRED AND FORGE.
