GOALS: be less shy DEMENTOR: during her third year at hogwarts, sadie got in a bit of a funk, a little depression, if you will. she was very homesick, missed being around her siblings more and felt very alone despite all her friends. one thing she thought was that this would be exactly how things would be once she graduated hogwarts and was forced to move out of her parents home and into the hufflepuff 'community' except she wouldn't see her siblings, or parents, at all. many other things and dark thought tormented her, depressing her deeply but her friends convinced her to try out for the quidditch team and her saddened mood was changed. BOGGART: toads, her brother had found a toad and it had jumped on her, scaring her. with ridiculous, it becomes a balloon on a string, the string coming from the tongue and the balloon resembles the bloated cheeks. PATRONUS: the first snowfall she can remember, she, darcy and aaron build snowmen and played all day outside with their parents, a mink. OVERALL: : sadie's very happy-go-lucky, always smiling, keeps positive about everything she can. she likes to learn new things, school related or not. she's really curious which leads to a lot interesting knowledge about a variety of subjects and creatures. she's a very simple girl and has fun with very simple things and very imaginative. she really just loves to laugh. sadie doesn't like to be alone, though. not for very long. it's what causes her to be terrified of when she has to leave her family because of the house law. it's the worse thing to her. her parents were gryffindors and her identical twin sister, darcy is in ravenclaw, where as aaron is gryffindor. she's sort of innocent. not entirely so, because she does swear (not like a sailor) and drinks a bit from time to time, but she really comes off as it. that and shy. sadie is a little shy but once you get to know her she's very open and lively. but she's a follower and gullible. she takes the rules installed by the minister of magic seriously because she's told to, they're the rules after all! she keeps in check and doesn't stir up trouble. but because she's gullible, people will try, and succeed, to convince her about certain things or to do things. put things in her head. she just defines herself as open-minded and loyal when people tell her she's gullible. sadie's not very brave, but she's very competitive. she loves quidditch, just like her parents, but never summed up enough courage to try out for her house team the first chance she got, she thought she'd be too nervous and fail her try out. her father always said it was unfortunate because she's a superb chaser, just like her mother. the following year, she tried out for the team. she was nervous for a good while at the start but after a little while she surprised everyone with her inherited skills. quidditch is really her only escape from her little shell. she's very loud and fearless in quidditch. it's her time to let go of all her problems. sadie has a few quirks and habbits. she often bites the ends of her pens (not her quills, she will being muggle pens with her everywhere cause an ink bottle isn't always practical). she plays with her hair, a lot. there's just something about it that makes her want to always be playing with it. she also, sometimes, puts quills in her hair which can lead to her having ink on her shirt collars and neck. her favorite scents are campfire, cinnamon and melted ice, which does have a scent. TRUTH, IT IS A BEAUTIFUL AND TERRIBLE THING. FATHER: oliver --- wood, 46, gryffindor alumni MOTHER: katie ---- (nee: bell) wood, 44, gryffindor alumna SIBLINGS: (app name)aaron --- wood, 16, gryffindor (app name)darcy --- wood, 15, identical twin sister, ravenclaw HOMETOWN: coleraine county, northern ireland, uk OVERALL HISTORY: oliver and katie were blessed with their identical twin daughters, sadie and darcy, on the 15th of november in 2007(?). they now felt their family was complete with their little girls and little boy, aaron. they had been very worried when katie went into labour a month early but the girls were fine and there weren't any complications to everyone's relief. the three children got along very well, always playing outside together. although they had the occasional fight like any siblings, they usually got past it. after all, children forgot very quickly. oliver and katie were, of course, very keen on having their children try their hands at quidditch, being legends in their own time at hogwarts but they wouldn't force them to continue the sport if they didn't like it. it turned out to be a very fun activity to do as a family. the woods weren't very happy with the house laws but taught their children about them and they were raised, told to follow them, although they hoped that, like their generation, their children would join a rebellion when and if the chance arose, like they had in their time. sadie first started to show sign of magic when she was about six, later than her siblings. she was playing with her doll and while combing her hair thought that she would rather her doll's hair be blond to match her own. sure enough, the doll's hair changed colours, in fact it turned green and so did the rest of the doll. not the most impressive or the biggest display of magic but it was still her first signs. aaron was the first to go to hogwarts, being only a year older than his sisters. sadie and darcy were sad to see their brother leave on the hogwarts express because he meant so much to them and had always been around to look out for them. they didn't know how they would manage without him, at the time, but they eventually got over their sadness, especially knowing that he would be returning for the holidays. when aaron's first letter came by owl, the whole family was excited to hear that he had been sorted into gryffindor house like his parents. although the girls were young, they understood that gryffindor was their parents' house and that being sorted in it would guarantee that they wouldn't have to move away and lose a lot of contact with them. in fact, sadie, for one, understood this too well at her young age and the thought of not getting to be with her family scared her. when it was their turn, darcy and sadie received their hogwarts letters. sadie had been very excited for such a quiet girl; darcy and she were both practically jumping up and down everywhere. finally, they would get to go to the great wizarding school like their family. however, attending hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry meant that they would get sorted into their respective houses and thus have their future jobs, living regions and other things, limited accordingly to their house. on the train, sadie expressed her concerns about the sorting to her brother and sister while they ate various kinds of sweets and berty bott's every flavour beans their parents had sent them off with. aaron had reassured her, saying that it didn't matter what house she was sorted into, she would still have her family to help her out (until she graduated, he left out). upon arriving at hogwarts, sadie was blown away by the castle's size and beauty. darcy was sorted into ravenclaw and, to everyone's surprise, sadie was sorted into hufflepuff instead of ravenclaw like they had assumed. nevertheless, katie and oliver were proud of all their children, although it saddened them to think that when the time came, at least one of their children wasn't going to be living in their determined area with them. but they were very supportive. sadie on the other hand, felt like her sorting was bittersweet. it was great to finally be sorted into a house, to finally be at hogwarts but she wasn't in gryffindor like her brother or her parents and she wasn't in the same house as her sister. they would be divided. sadie joined the quidditch team in her third year as a chaser like her mother and had very good grades. she had almost been too nervous to join that year, almost joining in her fourth year instead, but her friends pushed her and she couldn't be happier. quidditch is her outlet, her one place to let go and be free. she isn't shy when she's playing the game, she's a leader, determined, driven. her total opposite, really, it seems. over the next few years, sadie was grown, made friends, learned, laughed, etc. she tries not to dwell on the house laws that haunt her and tries to just enjoy herself now while she can with what she's got before she loses it. sadie hasn't been big on dating, but she's had many crushes.
