Yes she was born on the same day as her father's birthday. When she came out she came out screaming at the top of her lungs. Her father is always making jokes especially when she was growing up that she had a set of lungs on her. Growing up Lily was very hyper unlike her brother Albus. She was always running everywhere. She would hardly slow down long enough to sit for more than a few minutes. At the age of five she went to a muggle school just because she wanted to. She loved going to school. Every day she would come home and tell her parents what she learned in school. There was one thing she didn't like about it though and that was the bullies. She got picked on for being smart, and sometimes she would come home with bruises on her face. At the age of seven she told her parents she wanted to learn to play muggle instruments. So that Christmas she recieved her first guitar and she started learning how to play, then on her birthday the next year she got a piano. She loved learning how to play the guitar and piano. It wasn't that long till she was writing some of her own songs. Lily had watched her brother James go to Hogwarts and then two years later had to watch Albus go. She tried to sneak to Hogwarts when James went by hiding in his trunk but her father found her. When Albus went she begged her mother to let her go. She hated it when her brothers left her behind. She cried for days after they left. She wanted so badly to go to Hogwarts. For the first week when they would leave she would get depressed. She would not eat or drink anything or even sleep. She looked up to them and loved them so much that it was hard to be left behind especially when Albus went. She was alone ,besides her parents, at the house. She had her own schooling with the muggle school but it wasn't the same with James or Albus there. She absolutely hated them for leaving her all by herself. She tried to convince Albus before he left to sneak her to Hogwarts in his trunk but he wouldn't, which she thought was a little selfish. She knew he wouldn't get in trouble. She just really wanted to go. She hated waiting. It was not one of her best qualities. She was very impatient. Finally, Lily Luna Potter, the youngest of the three potter children, recieved her hogwarts letter. She was so excited she could hardly sit still during her fitting for her school robes. Her favorite part though when getting her school supplies was getting her wand. She loved holding it in her hand, and instead of an owl, since she didn't want one because she is scared of birds but she won't admit that, her father got her a black cat with green eyes whom she named Salem. She thought he was so cute. Finally the time came for her to get on that Scarlett train. She almost didn't want to go though, even though she tried so hard before to go early, because she realized that she would miss her parents. She promised to write but she wasn't going near the birds so she would get James or Albus to send it for her. She was sorted into Gryffindor. She made friends quickly and excelled in all her classes except potions. She had a hard time with that class, but she never gave up on trying. The next year she tried out for the quidditch team and made it. She was so excited that she begged her dad and mother to come watch her first game. She played well but at the end of the game she fell off her broom and she finally woke up two weeks later, and she scared her parents and her brothers half to death. Soon she was in her third year and she signed up for every class, though they made her take away two of them so she did. She continued with playing her instruments. She never stopped playing. Her fourth year had just been completed and she passed her exams with flying colors as usual. When she returned she would be a fifth year and she knew from her brothers that she would have her OWLs that year. Lily knew she needed to go ahead and start studying before the term even begin. She had a nice summer with some studying with helps from James and Albus as they told her what to study for her fifth year. She wanted to be prepared and she planned to blow those OWLs out of the water at the end of the year. Right now Lily was taking a break from studying. She had to do that every now and then of course. She had gone to the quality quidditch supplies got some things she needed for her broom. She looked at the newer models. She went to the leakey cauldron and had lunch. After her lunch she went and got herself some ice cream as a treat for studying so hard that day. She read a book as she ate her ice cream. She wasn’t in any hurry as she needed some time to relax before resuming her studying and quidditch practice. When she was finished she paid for her ice cream and left with her book in her arms. She walked down the street and smiled when she saw her Uncle George shop. It would be good for her to look around and maybe talk to him. She walked in the shop and immediately found him. Smiling she chatted with him catching up on how things were at his house and such. Lily apologized for not visiting as much as she should, and after they talked Lily walked around. She saw a girl who was in her year but in a different house. She had seen the girl in some of her classes. She walked over to her smiling and said hey. |
