This power was said to be in the shape of a stone. This stone, up until recently, was lost to the world. Everyone simply thought that this stone was a folk tale told to keep children from wandering in the woods. However, it was real and Robert LeBlanc learned this the hard way. In the year 2016 (six years ago), Robert was new to the position of Minister for Magic when he stumbled upon this stone. From the moment he touched it, everything changed. He felt more evil, more powerful and the wizarding world as we knew it would never be the same. Shortly after his finding of the stone, Robert changed wizarding law (later that same year). Among a few minor rule changes, there was one that shook the whole community. It was law that the whole wizarding world would be divided up into the original Hogwarts houses. Once you were sorted into a house, you were required to lay all of your loyalties with that house. Marriage between members of a different house was from then on illegal. Since the laws took place only five years ago, if you were married to someone from a different house, the women would have to take on the male’s house. If children were sorted into different houses than their parents, they are able to live with their parents until they are done Hogwarts. Once they are done, they are required to live with the house they were sorted into. Each house has a different section of the country in which they live in and they also are in charge of different careers. Slytherins: These cunning and ambitious folk live in and around London. Since Robert is part of the house of Slytherin, he made it so this house had the most benefits. They are in charge of all of the Ministry jobs. They are also the only house to have whatever kind of job they want. Ravenclaw: These smart witches and wizards live in Wales. They are in charge of all of the jobs that require an immense amount of knowledge. These jobs include Professors, Healers, Gringotts employees and researchers. Hufflepuff: These kind folks live in the middle of England. Since the house has always been kind of the ‘derpy’ house, they are in charge of being shop keepers, bartenders and other odd jobs. Gryffindor: These brave Gryffindors live in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Robert has never really liked this house and this is why they were given the same jobs as the Hufflepuffs. Ever since the new rules have come into place, there have been many witches and wizards who have tried to stop and/or kill Robert and his rules. However, since he has this new power, all those who have tried to stop him have died a horrible and painful death. There is a secret rebellion that has been established. It’s main goal is to try to find a way to stop Robert and destroy his power. Will they succeed? Will you go with the new rules or fight against them? Is this the start of a new wizarding war? |
