With his pockets full of pumpkin pasties, lickerish wands, Bernie bots beans, and other sweets, he raced down Diagon Alley. The reason why he was running was because he decided to pants a few seventh year Slytherins. Gutsy yes, but also foolish, but foolish was Spencer's middle name. Michael was just a cover name.
Panting, he looked over his shoulder. Thank God I lost 'em." Skidding to a halt he turned and saw the Leaky Cauldron. Good for cover. He opened the door, and walked in. Giving random people waves and greetings he plopped down in a table, making sure it was away from windows so the Slytherin's wouldn't be able to spot him so easily.
"Hey, if anyone out there wants to come sit with me, come on over!" He called out. He wasn't really expecting anyone to actually join him, since most avoid him and his obnoxiousness. He was really just here to catch his breath.

Lily Potter was sat in the Leaky Cauldron at the time the boy burst in through the door. She hid back the snicker, it was amusing to see how many people took shelter here. She too had taken shelter from her cousin's and her two brothers who were searching for her since she went missing about a week ago. Not that she would ever speak to them again, they wern't worth her time.
Lilly turned back to see the boy, who was obviously a little older that her, shouting out for someone to sit with him. She snickered, but picking up her drink and the black robe she had been wearing she went and sat at the back of the pub on his table. "Not expecting anyone to actually sit with you were you...?" she said holding back the laugh.

Spencer tilted his head as he saw a girl actually walk toward him. He definitely wasn't expecting that. Oh well, he did ask for it. As she sat down, he leaned forward. "Nope, wasn't expect'n much. So you're name is?"
He was pretty much just stalling for time, really. If those Slytherin's did come looking for them, maybe they wouldn't find them. Hell, if they did find him, he'd just pants them again.
He loved his life.

Lilly saw that he was surprised, but he did ask for it. She took a sip from her drink and checked that her arm wasn't on show. It was a new habit to check that her new little death eater mark wasn't on show, she'd probably get killed on site or something. She looked at the boy when he asked her name. "Lilly Potter.. And you?"
She noticed he looked as if he'd been running from somebody, but she didn't bother to ask, not yet anyway. She recognised him, she must have seen him round school. She gave him a mishevious smile before taking another sip of her drink.

Spencer raised an eyebrow as she told him her name. "A Potter? Nice. You must not be a Gryffindor though, 'cause I would've seen you around if you were." He was known for making assumptions in a hurry, even though he usually ended up offending people because of them, especially Slytherins. Spencer thought that it was sort of like a side job, torturing Slytherins. Right now, he had no idea that Lily was a Slytherin, and definitely did not know she was a Deatheater.
"I'm Spencer Lewes!" He said proudly. He glanced at Lily's drink then smacked his lips. He wanted his own. Raising his hand he called for a bartender. Ordering his own butterbeer, he noticed her mischievous smile. It always creeped him out when he saw a young girl do something like that.

"No i'm not a Gryffindork" she laughed, "im a Slytherin she added. She wondered what he would be, it was possible for anything other than a Slytherin, she knew most people in Slytherin. Though if he was a Gryffndor she probably would have offended him. She waited for his answer, wondering what it would be, in her mind she was guessing Ravenclaw, or maybe a Huffelpuff.
She noticed how proud he was of his name, not that she cared much, she was always bad with names, but she would try her best to remember this one. She thought he looked rather cute, but if he was a Gryffindor, her cousin would most likely be all over him. Rose Weasly was terrible for going for boys. She too ordered another drink, finishing the rest of the one she had had. She looked at Spencer, he was rather creeped out, possibly because of the smile, so she decided to change it too look like an innocent fourth year girl. [/blockquote]

The whole Gryffindork thing didn't bother him; he was used to it, really. No doubt that she was a Slytherin then. "I'm a Slytherin." Called it. Spence put his hand to his chest and sat up straight. "Well I'm a Gryffindork." When Spencer said that, he didn't sound at all offended, he sounded more like he was making fun of himself while he did. Spence always tried to keep the conversation on the bright side. Getting angry over stupid things wasn't his cup of tea.
He noticed that Lily changed the way that she was looking at him. Now she was more like a little, innocent girl. "You're like a fourth year, or third year, right?" He asked. Turning his head to the bartender that just came up to the table, he gladly took his butterbeer, said thanks, and took a swig.

"Yeah im a fourth year.. what about you?" She too had joined in with the joking, this boy seemed more relaxed than anything. She hated the stuck up boys. She smiled up at him, she didn't know why she just had the urge.
And then she remembered where she had seen him before. "I know you... some of the Slytherin lads are always chasing you.. what do you do to upset them so much?" she grinned, it was rather funny watching the Slytherin boys getting outrun from their stupid chases, it was true most of the Slytherins were pathetic and stuck up. But Lilly prefered to be sly and cunning. But then again she was in a rather good mood, she thought she would be nice to somebody for once. [/blockquote]

Spence set his drink aside and but an elbow on the table and rested his cheek on his hand. He returned her smile with his lazy one. "Oh, I'm a sixth year." He told her.
Spence grinned wider as he remembered the Slytherin seventh years trying to chase him while their pants were around their ankles. "Oh! Glad you asked. You see, I'm not one for really using magic while doing pranks, I'm more old-school like, since I'm all muggle-blood, see? So I pretty much did one of the oldest ones in the book, I pants them. They didn't see what was coming at all." Spence was definitely a talker.
When Spencer first came to Hogwarts he was actually nervous. Mostly because of his muggle blood, but not only that. Also it was because of his accent. He wasn't from England originally. He was actually from America, New York to be exact. There was no doubt that he was from New York, no doubt at all. But now that Spence had gotten older, and grew a lot of confidence, none of that bothered him at all.

"Sixth year? that would make you.... two years older than me?" she beamed "That would mean, you either know my brothers, and my cousin?" The family she hadn't spoke to for weeks. She couldn't face up to them alone, now she was a death eater and all, she had no chance of being part of their family again.
Lillys face dropped. Mud-blood. But she didn't know, she rather liked him, yet she should be dragging him out to the middle of nowhere and killing the filthy mudblood. "Oh.. i see" she felt like crying. It had only just hit her about who she was, she wanted too tell somebody and her family was out of the question. She couldnt exactly walk back home and pretend nothing happened eventually they would notice her mark. She felt uncomfortable, and she thought about leaving but then that would draw attention too her. She decided to stay quiet.

"Hm, I suppose so." It was a bit awkward socializing with someone younger than him. He usually spent time with others his age, or older. But it'd be something that he could tolerate. He didn't mind it so much. Lily seemed nice. Spence sat up straight again. "Uh, actually, I have no idea really. Haha. I might know 'em, but uh, I'm not all that into names and faces and such."
"Oh...I see. Something seemed wrong. "Uh, What's the matter?"
[/i] Spence had the feeling that it was probably something he said, maybe the whole muggle blood thing, but he shook it off. ...There's no way...[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

Lilly didn't mind socializing with someone older, she had it with her brothers and cousins, she was pretty much the youngest and until Hogwarts those were the people she pretty much grew up with. The almost over protected one. Especially with her brother, James. "James Potter and Rose Weasly..." she mumbled, perhaps he might recognise the names, she knew James would if she asked about Spencer. Rose and James were popular in the Gryffindor common room, or so they said.
She looked up at him when he asked her what was up. She bit her lip, she wasn't sure what too say. "Can you keep a secret?" she said rather quietly. She knew he wouldn't tell a soul because she would have to kill him, or atleast one of the death eaters would. Atleast she could get it off her chest. [/blockquote]

Spence leaned forward with a huge smile on his face. "OH! Them!" He said that pretty loud, or at least louder than needed to be, but Spencer didn't care. "I know them, sure, I just don't really talk to them much, or do anything to them, or whatever, but now I guess I should talk to 'em more, if they're as nice as you are." Sometimes Spence seemed too nice, or at least too suck-upish, but he actually never took notice of this- he's pretty oblivious and air-headed, which would be obvious if one was to look at his grades. It was a surprise how he even passes when the year is over.
"Can you keep a secret?" The truth was, yes, yes he could. If he promises something, he'd keep it....usually. "Sure can." He grinned, trying to look convincing, but it didn't end up looking like that, it actually looked more devious.

She looked at him for a minuite, Jack would kill her himself if he found out."Dont you dare tell anybody" She lifted her sleeve of her left arm and showed him the mark of a death eater. She wondered what he was thinking. Atleast now she had someone to talk to about it, even if it was against his own will.
"But don't worry... i won't hurt you." she said quickly pulling her sleeve back down whena waitress went past. She felt ashamed. She didn't want this, none of it yet she was stupid enough to fall for the tricks of two death eaters kidnapping her. She could sense the stuck-upness now when she thought back to what he'd said, oh well... he seems nice enough she thought to herself. She looked back at him. Don't tell anyone, promise?

The panic came quickly. All she had to do was lift up her sleeve. Just one look, one glance. Spence's dark brown eyes opened wide as he scooted as far back as he could. It was a Death eater's mark. She, the fourth year girl, the Potter, was a Death eater. Why? How? What was she doing here. Could he trust her? Why did she tell him?
Spencer couldn't move. He would have liked nothing more than to bolt out of the Leaky Cauldron and run for his life, maybe tell some adult- was he really that much of a coward? ....Yes, yes he was.
He shivered as a fearsome thought ran through his mind. He was a 'Mudblood.' Would she kill him? No, he'd kill her first- if that was the case. It wasn't like Spence to think like that. He was the kind of person who you'd think would be the last person to even hurt someone. But he wouldn't die. He wouldn't let that happen. There was no way he'd fall into the blackness, the dark oblivion. There was no way he would fall into the shadow-y abyss, cold and alone- forever. No, if he was to die, he'd take her with him, he'd have to find a way.
"But don't worry- I won't hurt you." Could he trust her? He didn't know. He couldn't speak just yet. "Don't tell anyone- promise? Could he promise? He didn't know. But he had to say something, he had to 'promise'. What was she thinking? She put him in danger from showing him her mark! They'd come after him for sure, now.
He managed to calm down just a tad- but he didn't loosen up, or move his eyes from her. He watched her like a hawk. "...I wont..."
